Reviews
Pizza is always a hit with me and the veal parmesan is a favorite for my mom! They have a bar area that is nice and also a private room that is great for when you have a bigger party.
All the food we ordered was also just okay and nothing amazing. Their pasta tastes like Olive Garden, but more like a step below.
Breadsticks were all really hard. The pizza sauce, pasta sauce, lasagna sauce all tastes the same. Soup didn’t taste fresh but their salad was good, wish they’d include more greens instead of iceberg lettuce. The plus is our server who was very kind and attentive.
Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, with a full house and what seemed like no available tables, we were greeted with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. The manager, showing great hospitality, guided us to a table that seemed custom-made for our party of six. It was a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening.
Our waitress, Vicky, was an absolute gem. Even in the hustle and bustle, she was attentive, friendly, and, most importantly, sincere in making sure we were comfortable. She didn’t just take our order and walk away—she engaged with us, making the evening feel personal. At one point, when my adorable 3-year-old niece demanded a mini dance line-up to show off her ballet moves, Vicky happily joined in, adding an extra layer of joy to the night.
After a challenging start to the day, I can’t express how much we appreciated Vicky’s kindness and the warmth of the entire Gino’s team. The food was equally amazing! From start to finish, every dish was top-notch, and my brother even convinced everyone to try his chicken Marsala, which was absolutely delicious.
Since our visit, my family and I have brought up that evening countless times, reflecting on what made it so memorable. It wasn’t just the great food—it was the sincere attention to our experience. It’s clear that Gino’s genuinely wants its guests to feel welcome and valued, no matter the circumstances. Thank you, Gino’s, for turning my birthday around and making it a night to remember. We’ll definitely be back!
I LOVE YOU GINO’S and VICKY!
I should’ve wrote this review sooner.
I was excited about eating here because of the reviews I read and with the fact that they had a veal dinner under $20, which is amazing.
My salad and breadsticks came right out, and they were fine, it was a dinner salad, and the bread sticks weren’t that great. The house dressing was just vinegar and oil.
The meal came shortly thereafter, and I could tell by looking at the marinara sauce that I wasn’t going to like it. The reviews said that this place was truly authentic, I can tell you I never had marinara sauce made with celery and onions that were in large pieces and not fully cooked, you could say they were al dente. I can see why this veal was priced where it was, it tasted like a processed piece of meat, like you would get from a grocery store.
I will tell you that I was not a fan of this food, and I will not be back.
Nothin really stuck out as exceptional but there were no real negative points about it either.
A party of 4 , 2 fish and chips 1 mastacholli, and I personally had the Michigan salad.
All were Worthy of returning to see what else ole gino has on deck for our next visit.
