I went in today and got 2 small tiramisus and both of them were sour. Also the whipped cream on top was super firm so they absolutely gave me items that were a week or two old. I was loyal to the Wayne location but I’ll never go back here. They could have seriously made somebody sick and they wasted my money.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Gencarelli’s for years, ordering many custom cakes for my family, but this last experience was truly disappointing. I ordered a simple cake with specific colors and even paid extra to make it special for my husband’s first birthday after his mother’s passing. Instead, the cake had colors I specifically asked to change, and when I arrived to pick it up, their system showed I hadn’t paid—even though I had the receipt and the charge on my card.
Everyone has an off day, but the customer service was subpar and the final product did not match what I requested. Sadly, this experience makes me think twice before ordering from Gencarelli’s again.

100% Authentic Italian bakery. My boss stops in every now and then and gets various items. Everything I’ve had is fresh and delicious. The danish are always amazing. The cherry and apple danish aren’t far my favorite from what I have had. I would like to try everything they bake. It all looks amazing.
