I ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. Boy oh boy, I was so pleasantly surprised. The butter chicken was so good, might be one of the best from all the Indian restaurants I’ve eaten. The naan were HUGE. I think I could have easily split the naan with another person. I also got chicken Biryani and it was packed into the box. I mean, it was PACKED to the brim, I was very happy! Everything tasted delicious, enough salt, and you can literally pick out the spices in the Biryani. Highly recommended, not sure why this place isn’t rated higher. The front desk person was very nice, inside was clean, I liked it.

Was passing by and decided to stop in and give a try. A kind aunty greeted and let me sit anywhere. Ordered the Karahi Chicken with garlic naan for the side.

The naan was perfect. Crunchy on one side, soft and fluffy in the other with a healthy dose of garlic flavour.

The chicken was well cooked, the curry could’ve had a better depth of flavouring. Despite this, I still powered down the whole thing myself!

For what it is, a family restaurant, they are doing fine, and not pretending to be something they ain’t.

I’d go back and try some other things in the menu, for sure. I’d go back just for the naan to tell the truth.

Great location. Out of all the Indian food restaurants around, they have been around the longest. Very well recommended

By far worst butter chicken rice and garlic naan I’ve ever had the butter chicken sauce tasted like canned tomato soup and there was almost no chicken the Indian food factory is way better and you get a lot more food for the price

The food was delicious. We ordered Chole Bhature, Malai Kofta and naan. Bhature was really big in the size that 3 people can eat it easily. Naan was super soft. The taste was on to the point. And yes their mixed pickle is too delicious. Highly recommend this place for indian food.

The Passage To India retaurant on the west side of Stanley Street just south of Robinson Street in Niagara Falls is a gem that I’m so glad I discovered. From the moment I stepped in, the staff’s friendliness stood out, with the waiter going above and beyond to explain the spice levels of different dishes, ensuring we had a great dining experience. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming, and it’s clear they take cleanliness seriously, from the dining area to the bathrooms.

The food is undoubtedly the star of the show. Every dish we tried was bursting with distinct flavors, from the delicious Vegetable Pakoras and Samosas to the rich Butter Chicken and perfectly cooked Lamb Biryani. The Garlic Naan was fresh and complemented the curries beautifully. The portions were incredibly generous; even after we were full, there was plenty left for takeaway. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in serving fresh, authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

What also stood out was the service. Our server was exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel well cared for throughout our meal. While there was a slight wait for the food, it was worth it, and the staff’s professionalism made up for it.

Taste of India is a must-visit for anyone looking for flavorful, authentic dishes paired with excellent service. I can’t wait to return on my next trip to Niagara Falls!

⚠️ Warning: Beware of uncooked Food ⚠️

My worst experience. The restaurant served what was supposed to be chicken curry, but it arrived uncooked. The chicken itself had split into stringy fibers, making it incredibly unappetizing. The curry was watery and bland, completely lacking any depth of flavor.

Overall, this was not just underwhelming, it was unsafe and inedible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Especially when you are here to visit Niagara Falls, this ruined our whole trip.

Really great service. Food came out in like 20 minutes. The quality of the food was top notch, we ordered the chicken tikka, beef sheesh kebab, palak paneer, and lamb vindalo with garlic chili naan and regular naan. For people who aren’t accustomed to desi food, the price may seem a bit much. But this is a touristy area near Niagara Falls first off so you have to factor that in. Coming from NYC where we have really good desi food, this spots flavors and quality were all really great for the price point you pay. In total after tip and tax we paid $129 CAD to feed 4 people comfortably with left overs.
