First visits here and so happy I came, the food is authentic and home made. Best salsa I had in a long time. Love the onion chunks, best chicken enchiladas. Best lunch specials. And the margaritas. .. loved the food and hospitality. Arlington is lucky to have this place

My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to this restaurant because “I’m his amaya papaya” (Love Island reference if you know lol) . Everything was do good 10/10! I even had leftovers to take home. BEST SALSA EVER! Although, the margarita was so strong couldn’t taste the flavor that was mango and strawberry.

I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem we discovered in Arlington—but I can’t justify gatekeeping a place this good. This charming spot has been around for over a decade, and I only wish we’d stumbled upon it sooner. The food is fantastic, the drinks are excellent, and the overall experience is one you’ll want to come back for

I knew it was going to be good after I opened to see my food! I added queso it’s supposed to be chili only, but first time I came. Got beef enchiladas refried beans and rice. The chips and salsa taste handmade and fresh. Everything was really good! I plan on coming back!

The service here was great. They didn’t have exactly what my husband wanted on the menu so they built it for him. Everything had great flavor. The margarita I had was a tad too fake limey, but overall really good for the price and was not weak. Definitely will be back.

We love Papaya. Let me tell you why! First off the owners works their daily and is always welcoming. Second the pricing is great, and it’s not just great pricing but the portions for the pricing is fantastic. You get 4 friggin tacos stuffed for 15 bucks with sides. Not 2 or 3 like some places but 4. The XL wet burrito is my go to. 16.99 and you get a burrito the size of your arm packed will all the happiness. This thing could feed 2 to 3 people. Go support your local business that aren’t chains and eat unique

We found this online, and decided to eat here based on the other reviews and those were spot on! We were greeted immediately, food (a lot of it ) came very quickly, and it was delicious! It was just what we had hoped it would be!

I took a girl here once for one of our dates and I liked the vibe. It was a weekday so it was quiet and chill. The place is a good vibe the waitress was amazing and the owner even came out to greet us on how the food was. I got carne asada tacos and it came with rice and charro beans, one of the best plates I’ve had. I’ll be sure to come here more often I’d recommend it to anyone.
