I was able to obtain a last-minute Valentine’s Day reservation due to a cancellation so definitely pointers there. The menu was a little limited. Wish we had more options. Got an order of the chicken flautas , absolutely delicious. Ordered a frozen piña colada with ice in it thought that was strange, but it did have a unique taste to it. The churrasco steak could’ve been more seasoned, I did feel like it lacked a lot of flavor. The baby potatoes that came with it were also undercooked and the side salad wasn’t chopped up completely. We did have some floating foreign substance in our water manager was informed but no discount nothing like that. Not a big complainer, but as somebody who worked fast food, I would definitely have offered something. The music was a tad bit loud, and the lights were a little darker than how I like it. This is definitely a cocktail forward place with the exception of appetizers. Probably would not come back here unless I had someone’s event there or I wanted a quick cocktail. If you’re definitely looking for a place to chat with coworkers or even to have a conversation with a friend hundred percent would come here . Again, my cup of tea could be different from another person’s cup of tea.

We visited Agave María in Belleville to celebrate a friend’s birthday and chose the 3rd floor, which offers a great atmosphere for groups—perfect for sharing, talking, and having a good time. The DJ was excellent, and the music really added to the overall vibe of the night. I definitely recommend calling ahead if you’re looking for a specific atmosphere or planning a group celebration.
The birria tacos were outstanding, full of flavor and easily one of the best dishes we had. The food overall was excellent.
That said, the service needs significant improvement. There were no water refills, and when dessert was served, we had to eat it with knives because no spoons were provided. These details took away from what could have been a great experience.
In summary, great food and atmosphere, but the service still has a lot of room for improvement.

I brought my sister here to celebrate her 30th birthday, and our server, Juliana, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive and made sure all of our needs were met without us ever having to ask. She consistently checked in to ensure everything was perfect and clearly takes great pride in her work. I truly appreciate the care and effort she put into making my sister’s birthday such a memorable and special experience. I will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant again and again. The service was exceptional, A+ and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much to Juliana for providing such amazing customer service. This is exactly what great service looks like.

We had a wonderful experience! When we mentioned someone in our group had a hearing sensitivity, the staff immediately accommodated us with a quieter table upstairs, which was such a thoughtful suggestion from the hostess.
The Halloween decor was fantastic, the drinks were great, and the appetizers (chicken flautas + steak & chicken nachos) were delicious. I’m not usually a guac person, but theirs won me over! We splurged on the churrasco steak and it was absolutely worth it. It was tender, flavorful, and the chimichurri was perfection. Even the side salad was impressive, which says a lot coming from someone who rarely eats salad!
The only miss for me was the tres leches cake, which was a little too dry (how is tres leches dry?)
I agree it was a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back!

Wow, this place is litty! The food, the vibe and the DJ was on fire all night. Andres, the manager/waiter was soo nice and engaging. You can tell he loves what he does. Parking was easy and prices wasn’t bad. The decor was breathtaking too. I recommend bringing cash because they have a service fee of 3% plus tax. Will be back for Valentine’s Day!

Agave Maria has a lively atmosphere, but unfortunately our experience missed the mark. The music was extremely loud, and our party of five was squeezed into a small corner table, which immediately felt uncomfortable. Service was slow and inattentive. Our waiter seemed focused on larger groups, and it took an unusually long time just to get water.
The biggest issue was finding a hair in my appetizer. To their credit, the manager handled this professionally and comped our bill, which we appreciated. Still, between the noise level, seating, and service, it just wasn’t the kind of dining experience we were looking for. We left shortly after the bill was cleared and likely won’t be returning.

I had a great experience at Agave Maria in Belleville! The food, especially the dishes prepared by agave Maria, was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive; our waiter was awesome—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic and tasty food with excellent service. Will be coming back

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience absolutely deserved one. My kids were excited to try this place after seeing the mural outside, and we’re so glad we did. We were in a rush to eat before their Christmas concert, and the managers kindly let us in a little early and even expedited our food. The birria tacos were the best we’ve ever had.
Our server, Victoria, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and wonderful with the kids, which made the whole experience even better. We truly appreciated everything and can’t wait to come back. Thank you again.

It was my first time…I had a reservation they were so nice to me because I had to do it TWICE,got there and the place was full,nice ambiance,good music and later around 12 the party went lit with this girl dancing and giving shots to everyone it was a great night,the food was amazing, churros OMG , DRINK it was ok idk why the taste of smoked tequila (maybe the one they used) but the other ones were great …def going back and trying the upstairs speakeasy can’t wait
