First time trying Ricks Roadside Cafe. The restaurant is small but very comfortable with tables and booths. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. We tried their ham steak and eggs and the chicken fried steak and eggs. You have your choice of potatoes, toast or gravy and biscuit. The food was very good and the portions are large and filling. Service is fast and friendly and prices are reasonable. Easy access off of major roads with a large parking lot .

Cool little roadside cafe that we’ve always drove by. Finally decided to stop and try it out. They have limited hours, mostly open for breakfast only. Can get busy, had to wait about 30 mins to get seated. Food was good, atmosphere was good. Cool place with a good bit of history. Would have given it 5 stars but the restroom was a mess.

Stopped here during the rain and flash flooding up here because the owner of the place I was really going thought they were inaccessible and closed. Rick’s Roadside Café is worth a stop out of curiosity and a return visit because you’re going to like it a lot! Noteworthy coffee, delicious food selections, and friendly staff that seem to be welcoming you into their home for a home-cooked meal make it worth a drive!

Updated: still a great place. Usually our weekend go to for breakfast today I tried their Asada wer burrito with rice and beans. Big, filling and delicious!!
Great food, small town atmosphere, great service, lots of parking. The cinnamon roll french toast is amazing, and greatly appreciated my poached eggs. Machaca plate is my go to. And if the french toast is too much, the cinnamon roll is decadent. Our to go place for breakfast!! Always.

Awesome little roadside experience! Great food and large portions!
A note to management:
Please change the description of your tuna sandwich to portray an accurate image in the heads of people who are only able to go off the menu.
I read that you had a grilled tuna sandwich, when in reality, it was a tuna salad sandwich on grilled sourdough bread. I was expecting a grill tuna filet. Even though I did not get that meal I had imagined getting, I rather enjoyed the tuna salad sandwich.

First time here, always passed by Wrightwood until today when we came to visit. It feels very homey, everyone is so kind, and the food is really cheap and delicious. My wife and kids loved it.
