Nice Mexican American restaurant in Chicago suburbs. Don’t see too many classy Mexican restaurants which are affordable. Good variety of foods. Service was excellent. There is street parking which can become tricky when it’s busy. Loved the interiors witha European flair. Coffee was really good with free refills.

My wife ordered a CHILAQUILES VERDES with eggs, and they were delicious. They were not that spicy but were so tasteful.
I ordered POZOLE, and the plate was huge. Flavor was good, not the best, but it was good. Lots of meet on it, but not many corn witch it makes pozole.
Cocktails are delicious. She ordered a mezcal, and just perfect.
We are definitely coming back soon.

the only thing I didn’t like is that you can’t split the check.
We were a party of 10 people and we had to do the math in order to pay separately.
We were told that you can’t do that on weekends.

Great food at an affordable price! Also, I’ve never had bad service here. My kids love everything here. Wife loves the ceviche tostadas. I love the golden margaritas! Great spot. Highly recommend!

Like Ken would say “sublime”! Just got done eating here on the whims with my family (2 adults and 5 littles) and the service, food, and atmosphere was phenomenal! This was a first time in years I had snapper fish and the fish was bigger than my head; and coming from an island gal the size alone was a good sign! I wish I remembered our waiter’s name because his customer service was 10/10.

This was my first BUT not my last visit. The food was amazing. Flavor flavor flavor. The rice was by far the best Mexican I have EVER had. The refried beans were amazing . I also had the Al Pastor burrito . Again, amazing flavor.
I live in the addison area and there are tons of Mexican restaurants and not one come close to Coculas. This was worth the trip.
