This place is decent if you’re in the mood for a diner style meal. Stopped in for brunch and ordered an omlette. It was ok, nothing to write home about though.

I live in New Mexico and was looking on the Internet for a place our group of 40 people could eat. I found Samaria Cafe and was mesmerized by the pictures of the food. I got here and the food looks just like the pictures. The berry crepes were unbelievable and we got half of an avocado on our omelet. Service wasn’t bad (we had 40 people). It is a great place for a meal before the Yankees spring training game. The owner came out and is French, so get the crepes, they are pieces of art!

Samaria seems like a fairly hidden gem for a solid diner-type breakfast in downtown Tampa.

To my shock, there aren’t a ton of spots nearby of this nature despite there being plenty of cafes and food trucks. Sometimes, you just want a solid’ breakfast…without the need for bottomless drinks and vibes. If that’s what you need, Samaria can be one or your go-to spots.

I opted for a 3-egg omelet with spinach, onions, mushrooms, and feta with breakfast potatoes and what was *supposed* to be a small side of blueberry pancakes. The eggs were great – a little overcooked but still good. The potatoes were cooked to perfection but needed a little more salt. Again, still good. And the pancakes were solid – not amazing but absolutely solid and bigger than I thought they’d be.

Service was great. They forgot my pancakes at first, but my server quickly and graciously corrected the mistake.

Overall, if you want a basic diner breakfast, I’d recommend Samaria.

We came here for a quick breakfast. The service was excellent! Food was pretty good. There is a lot of construction on the front of the area/sidewalk.

Great experience at Samaria Café! The service was friendly, attentive and fast, and the food was delicious. We ordered the breakfast burrito, Western crepe, and California bowl—everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Definitely coming back!!

We went there for Mother’s Day Brunch and luckily we made reservations ahead of time so we got in quickly when we came in. The place was packed! Coffee was NOT GOOD so I wouldn’t recommend it, but we ordered chocolate chip pancakes which were delicious, and a few other dishes. It took a while until the food got to us but that is probably because of Mother’s Day. Erik was our server and he was awesome!

Very friendly and prompt service. Hearty omelette. Yummy crepe. California bowl was hearty also. The avocado was kind of rotten like a third of it but it’s hard to find a perfect avocado anywhere so I get it. It was a fine breakfast, not out of this world, but it was good.

Was staying nearby on a business trip and looking for a good place for breakfast. The staff at our hotel recommended Samaria and it definitely did not disappoint. In fact it was so good we ate there every morning for four days straight. All the staff was lovely but Terry really was so warm and inviting. Everything is made fresh and the quality and portions are very consistent. The omelettes are definitely bigger than what I get in NY. You can tell a lot of pride goes into every dish. They have dishes with a French influence as well but I stuck to their omelettes and would take a wrap to go with their homemade potato chips for lunch. Home now and already missing their breakfast!

We thought this cafe would be a fun place to have brunch. The food was really meh. The only thing that was good—the avocado toast-and of course mimosa. The most disappointing dish was the ratatouille. I’ve made ratatouille and had some in France-I’m not sure what we were served-there was absolutely no flavor -and it didn’t look good. Chicken and waffles had no flavor-our waffles were not served with butter. The eggs benedict was nothing special. I felt like I was eating at a Denny’s but paid double the cost.
