The Vibe:It has a more polished, moody atmosphere compared to your typical mall food court. It’s popular for birthday dinners and business lunches because it feels a bit more “special” than other chains.
If you are planning to go for a weekend dinner, I recommend making a reservation as it gets quite busy being right at the mall entrance.
Everyone was very friendly, even the initial host who allowed me to sit outside on the patio, although no one else was out there. There was a power outlet at my table, so O could work proficiently.
The noodles were a bit oily but still very good. The prom size could be two or three bites more given the upcharge but whatever.
I tried their red velvet cake, but it was very small for the cost of $5.50, and it wasn’t anything worth ordering again. It wasn’t bad, but it was fast from moist and filling.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would eat there again.
It’s rare to get service this good, and Yolonda truly went above and beyond. If you visit P.F. Chang’s, I highly recommend asking for her section. She’s a big reason I’ll be coming back.
We were seated quickly, but no one came to our table for the first 10 minutes. I eventually waved someone down who was clearing plates, and they said they’d find our waiter. The greeter — not the server — ended up taking our order about 15 minutes after we sat down. We didn’t see our actual waiter until around 30 minutes in. He apologized, said he was busy (despite the restaurant being half empty), and promised to bring our drinks — which sat on the bar for another 10 minutes before anyone brought them over.
During our time there, we watched more than 20 takeout orders go out while diners in the restaurant waited. It was clear that takeout and delivery orders were being prioritized over guests who were actually there. This was especially frustrating given there were plenty of staff — at least ten people working the floor — and only a handful of tables occupied.
We asked twice to speak with the manager, just to explain how poor the experience had been, but she refused to come out either time. That refusal felt dismissive and unprofessional. They eventually applied a 40% discount, which was appreciated, but the bill still had items we hadn’t ordered. Fixing that took another 20 minutes.
Our waiter himself was polite and clearly trying to hold things together — he even mentioned trying to comp some drinks because of the delays — but he seemed overwhelmed and unsupported. The whole experience was chaotic, badly managed, and frustrating from start to finish.
I hope this location takes a hard look at how they’re balancing dine-in and takeout service, and how management handles customer concerns, because this was a textbook example of how not to run a restaurant.
Also, shout out to our server Joy, she was very attentive and so sweet
