Traditional Italian dishes served in cozy digs with stone walls & red-&-white-checked tablecloths.

A beautiful and cozy place with excellent service. The chicken noodle soup was absolutely delicious — I probably have a soup this good in America only once every few years.
I was a bit surprised by the menu — it’s only one page, and the selection feels quite limited. There was just one salad available, which I found unusual. In most Italian restaurants, you can easily find a Caprese salad with tomatoes and mozzarella, but that wasn’t an option here.
Unfortunately, the pasta was not al dente and slightly overcooked, which made it less enjoyable.
Overall, I liked the restaurant: the prices are reasonable, and it was very busy — clearly a place that people love. It’s a nice spot to visit once for a casual meal.

Took the family to Glenwood and found Euro Italian Underground Restaurant. Really great atmosphere, and friendly staff. It is a small place, but worth the wait. Very flavorful and off the beaten path cuisine. Kids loved the chicken Alfredo, Salmon Alfredo is what I chose, wife did spaghetti and colognes. All great choices, delicious cheesecake for dessert. We really enjoyed ourselves, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Angie is the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet. It’s always amazing to enjoy a fabulous restaurant with great food in a busy tourist town—and the owner still greets everyone and thanks them as they leave. I swear everyone in there was her friend! And now she’s mine too 🙂
This is a very welcoming place that makes you feel at home while they provide excellent service and cook you an amazing meal. It’s a gem in the Rockies and you don’t want to miss it

Sat at the bar with Haley, AWESOME SERVICE!!!
I had Calamari & the Shrimp Scampi with a glass of Grand Vins Bordeaux Blanc, went very well with both my items.
Definitely would try again, just different items.

Cute! Little Italian place. Service was great.
Food was mediocre for being an Italian high class restaurant for the price you pay it tasted like regular Olive garden Italian food to me.
Also, a friend of mine got spaghetti with meatballs and their spaghetti was broken in half which I find to be weird for an Italian restaurant to break their noodles in half.

The owner Angie is an absolute delight, and our waitress Tatiana took great care of us. The food, the wine, the atmosphere all great. An amazing night out in Glenwood for our long weekend away from home.

We found the Euro Italian Underground Restaurant by seeing the sign as we drove into downtown Glenwood Springs. We loved the feel, the atmosphere, and the service. We came in and the owner said we could sit at the bar. Best. Idea. Ever. Hailey was our bartender and she took the best care of us. We ordered an old-fashioned and it was perfectly mixed. The zucchini blossoms were delicious, and the salmon fettuccine was fresh with the salmon cooked to perfection. We also tried the lasagna and loved the big chunks of beef in the savory red sauce. For dessert we had the creme brulee, it came out warm and so yummy! And because we couldn’t decide on a dessert we took some apple cake to go. All in all an amazing experience and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you to Hailey and the sweet owner for taking care of us!

An incredible find! You go down the stairs to a hidden gem. Stone walls & only about 15 tables. Prompt service, awesome food. No fancy wine list.
We live in Upstate NY where great Italian food is plentiful so we don’t usually seek out this cuisine when traveling.
Do yourself a favor and check it out! Just past the pedestrian bridge – a short walk from Glenwood Hot Springs.
