Lonestar is a BBQ restaurant which specialize in home made sausage and slow smoked meats. Our signature sausages are handmade using All Beef or Beef and Pork blends. Our Briskets, Ribs, Chicken and Sausages are smoked with a Texas Oak giving it a mild smoke flavor reminiscent of the food my Grandfather prepared when I was a child. *Brisket was good but we would have liked a little more fat on ours The homemade barbecue sauce made it even better!
*Ribs were definitely “fall off the bone”
*Beef Sausage was amazing as always and my fiancés favorite
*Loved trying the boudain eggrolls.

Do not order from this place. The food was un eatible. I don’t know I have order pure salt with a side of bbq. It wasn’t just a bit salty this was. Way way over salted. I tried to eat it with something else to cut down and lower the saltiness, this was purely a heartattack on a tray. The salt content was like of they deliberately wanted me to hate this. The half chiken, sausage and brisket. All. Way way way over salted. Geezus. Do you all even taste it? This is disgusting. And then they have the audacity to recommend Rudy’s. LMAO. Which at this point is better but not as good as Demmeris BBQ on shepherd and W. Alabama. Next suggest tasting your bbq and make sure you didn’t do a mistake. But don’t worry. I won’t ever try your place again.

Great restaurant with great food. The owner is a very welcoming person and gives off a loving spirit. My order came out quickly and all the meats and sides were spot on. I can genuinely say that I left very pleased. I even got a slice of homemade apple pie for later. Definitely coming back.

Not many places treat you like you are family, but Lonestar Sausage and BBQ not only has great food but the kindest of people working there. I got a baked potato with brisket and chicken and my husband got a two meat plate with sausage, sliced brisket, potato salad and macaroni n cheese. Everything was delicous! The chicken had a great smoky flavor and the brisket was a perfect mix of the lean and fatty parts. My husband enjoyed the spicy kick in the sausage and macaroni n cheese. The owner was so nice, came and talked with us for a little while and offered some jalapeños fresh from his garden. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

This place was absolutely delicious!!! Me and my husband tried this place for the first time and will definitely be going back! The ribs LITERALLY FELL OFF THE BONE. The sausage is absolutely amazing, brisket is tender, they also have Boudin egg rolls!!

The best BBQ in Houston…argue with your mama not me lol! My husband wanted bbq a while back and I wanted him to try one of the staples in the city since he is from Louisiana but he saw this place a while ago and convinced me to go because it is close to us. Honestly review of this place…..1000/10. This beats out some of the staple bbq locations in the city. The brisket is seasoned to perfection and so tender, sausage is amazing! Their sides hit everytime. This is a small business and their food is hands down the best and customer service is amazing!!! Please go check them out and support!!

I came in and ordered a 3 meat plate. I got brisket, ribs, and their lone star sausage, along with Mac and cheese and baked beans on the side. The food was great, easily a 10/10. The portions?? Ridiculous. I’m a big guy, and they hooked me up.
Customer service was great. The gentleman that took my order was attentive and polite. I’m not sure what people have going on, but I have nothing to say about this place.
Overall, this place left me throughly impressed and I will most definitely be coming back for more.

I normally don’t eat Sausage at BBQ place. But the Sausage is dynomite so good. You get your money works and The Owner is a very Handsome, friendly Guy. Make you feel like family and welcome. He take his time to help you figure out what you like to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I found my new BBQ place to go to now on. Me and my daughter enjoy every bit. Very flavorful. So this is what all of the fuss is about! I’ve had great barbecue in TN, SC, NC and Dallas, TX, but this place is definitely a cut above. We were greeted like family, and had a lovely experience.
