Service-wise, Royce did his best to keep up with our drinks and was attentive. However, even though the food was pre-ordered, it still didn’t come out as quickly as expected. By the time the rest of the dishes arrived, we were already full, which was a letdown. Overall, a mix of highs and lows, but still a decent experience.
The Crispy Pata and garlic fried rice were delish!! The dipping sauce for the pata, however, tasted weird compared to what I’m used to. The pinakbet and pancit sotanghon (supposed to be bihon) were meh. Adding patis didn’t improve it. They didn’t have their mango sticky rice dessert which I was looking forward to. The tables need major cleaning or resurfacing. It felt dirty and sticky.
I noticed that there were multiple empty tables yet there were still many people waiting to be seated.
Once seated we waited an additional 20 minutes to get our orders taken. They informed us that they were out of Pancit, Lumpia, and other items.
The Kare Kare and the fried chicken were decent but nothing special and definitely not worth the wait. The Sisig was decent. You’re much better off cooking at home at that point. The only thing that I enjoyed was the halo halo.
I’d assume they may be understaffed and I don’t want to be too demanding of a customer. At the same time, there are multiple issues that need to be improved before opening up.
As a Filipino I was disappointed and I hope they will improve as a restaurant. Even still, I definitely won’t come back.
The food is so flavorful. Everything came out fresh and hot. It all had its own unique flavor and definitely worth trying.
We ordered the Whole Chicken with Garlic Rice, Pork Barbecue Skewers and Lechon Kawali. I did not care for the fried chicken. It tastes like the chicken we make at home so nothing special. The Lechon Kawali was really good but the Pork Barbecue Skewers were the best! I can order a bunch of skewers and be completely satisfied!
I mean if you’re craving for Filipino food, this is the best place to eat and enjoyed. The food was delicious!
