We have a Wendy’s we consider to be our closest in Matamoras, but the distance is virtually identical. However, this is our favorite Wendy’s location when traveling in that general direction because there have never been any issues or mistakes(knock on wood). This location is a testament to proper fast food service and establishment maintenance. They are clean, organized, consistent with everything from their condiment stations being well stocked and organized to the restrooms looking like they just got cleaned and, most importantly, the food is always fresh and hot made according to the order without hiccups or conflict. The staff here have gone through changes over the years, but the reputation of this particular location remains stellar as if the spot itself is built on holy land or charmed for perpetual success. Everyone who works there is always friendly, eager to serve and please, always polite and courteous regardless of downtime or rush hour. I tip my hat to the managent and all subordinates for setting the Gold Standard for an A Class experience every single time I’ve visited for well over a decade now. If you are new to Wendy’s or fast food in general, or you’re looking to experience Wendy’s at the highest level of satisfaction, presentation, and efficiency, look no further. Haven’t been to a Wendy’s in years. Forgot how much better there cheeseburger is than bk or mcD. Was looking for a bathroom and found a old favorite again. I will be back. Maybe for the baconator if I’m alone.

This Wendy’s had good food. Specifically the fries were among the best Wendy’s fries that I’ve had, since they almost made them crispy. (Still not as good as McD though.). Our food was prepared well but the dining room could have been cleaner. Most of the flavors on the fancy Freestyle coke/soda machine were out, which was disappointing.

This is the best Wendy’s around. I love their coffee and breakfast. Tastes do much better than other near by options.

This location has bad reviews but I’m guessing they’re all old. I used to not love this location but I do believe it’s the best one in the general area now. The food comes out faster and built better than others locally. The beef is always cooked through (not the case at others around here), and the employees are friendly. Pic of the saucy nuggs just for reference, but I’ve had many meals here in the last couple years with no issues.

There were two cars in the parking lot and two cars before us in line at the drive-thru and it took us a half hour to get our food. The guy that was putting our drinks together had no gloves on and was touching his dreadlocks and then pressing the tops on our cups with his fingers and no gloves. Then we get our sandwich and it was a sloppy mess. The burger was shifted to one side of the bread and everything was sliding off of it I had to remove the lettuce the tomato and onions in order to eat it and the taste was awful. The fries were not hot. What are they doing there there was no one in the parking lot They were not busy It was not lunch time nor was it dinner. I will never be going back ever again

Surprisingly, this is one of the cleanest Wendy’s I have ever eaten at. The servers were nice and very helpful and the food orders were accurate and timely. The crew working is an example of how all fast food places should run.
