Wife and I decided to check out Vietnamese restaurants near downtown San Antonio. We stopped in here and tried the pho. My wife had the combination/ special. I got the brisket. She likes her. I thought they gave me too much meatballs instead of brisket. Service was ok. I was surprised how busy they were for a Wednesday. It’s alright. Price is reasonable.

My Husband and I were vacationing in San Antonio. We had a craving for Vietnamese food and located Pho Kim Long. It was a quiet place. Plenty of parking. We were seated right away. We ordered steamed dumplings to start and they were so good. I’d return to the restaurant just for them! My Husband had Cashew Chicken and I had Vegetable and Tofu Pho. These were incredibly good. A small thing that I really enjoyed was the lime served in my iced tea.
Try this place if you are in San Antonio you won’t be disappointed!!

Awesome spot for pho in San Antonio. Small place but food packs a punch and the service is quick. Came here for lunch and I got my food in less than 10 minutes. What blew me away was the flavor. Staff is friendly and patient. Prices are great. Can’t really ask for more. Great small spot

This is one of the oldest Pho restaurants in SA. Came new owner a few years ago. The pho stays the same with delicious beef noodle broth and fresh veggies. The atmosphere is changed little. The service is still good with good price. Came by and try yourself. Ordered a reguarl Pho Combo. Enjoyed it but the owner is little antsy with little things if you started to touch or move his curtain to get some day light. They wanted to keep low light vibe. I got it. Anyway small things. I was here for the Pho and it delivered. Good job to the cool and the waiter. The restaurant and restroom were relatively cleaned and well maintained. Just little too dark but it owner choice.

I haven’t been in a while so I wanted to give them a shot again. I ordered a vermicelli bowl with shrimp. Huge portion but the shrimp was not seasoned as usual at other places. As my friend and I ate our drinks were filled constantly which was kind. Service was prompt and good. What turned me sour was whule I was eating the lady filling our drinks came ans moved my utensils to be completely on my plate while I was eating. I told her I wasn’t done but she said they go on my plate. I was a little surprised she touched my plated as I ate and thought it was OK simply because she didnt like the way they were rested on the side of the plate. Very unusual. My friend and I kept visiting ans our plated were taken. The drink refills stopped, she check came and we were offered a to go box. Shortly after a waitress came over and said time to pay. This was a Wednesday night, not a weekend. We were asked to leave because we were done. For $49 for 2 bun bowls and an appetizer and to be told to leave its not worth it. Food was bland and the unusual behavior of not liking where my utensils were is not for me.

Love this little Vietnamese neighborhood spot. The owners are always super friendly, never have any problem with my orders. The prices have held steady as many restaurants continue to climb. Pho Kim Long is a neighborhood gem. Not a Thai restaurant, I know, but their pad thai is excellent as well.

Tucked away in the heart of Olmos Park, Pho Kim Long has earned a well-deserved reputation for serving the best pho in town. This cozy, welcoming spot brings the bold, comforting flavors of authentic Vietnamese cuisine to San Antonio in a way that’s both memorable and satisfying.
The pho is the true highlight – featuring a rich, deeply flavorful broth that’s clearly been simmered with care. Whether you opt for the traditional rare beef or go all-in with a combination bowl, each serving is generously portioned and packed with fresh herbs, tender meats, and perfectly cooked noodles.
Equally impressive are the appetizers, which are far from an afterthought. The chicken spring rolls are crisp, light, and perfectly seasoned. The soft shell crab is another standout – fried to golden perfection with a delicate crunch and full-bodied flavor that sets the tone for the rest of your meal.
The main dishes go beyond expectations, offering an array of savory, well-balanced options that showcase the richness and variety of Vietnamese cooking. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty rice plate or a fragrant noodle dish, you’ll find something worth savoring.
With friendly, attentive service and a relaxed ambiance, Pho Kim Long in Olmos Park is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It’s a local favorite for good reason – once you’ve tried it, you’ll understand why it’s known for having the best pho in San Antonio.
Grab some hot tea on a cold day or iced Thai tea on a hot day, get your chopstick skills ready, and dig in!

Every time we visit San Antonio this Pho spot is a must have for my family and I since 2020. Our Pho is always fresh and hot and taste very amazing and authentic. Great prices and customer service.
This past Christmas 2025 We stopped for lunch to end our stay in SA and I was a little bit under the weather and very tired I left my purse behind and traveled home five hours away and the owners kindly sent me my purse in the mail the following day. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WITH NO HESITATION I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Came during the lunch rush so parking was a little scarce but we found nearby parking. We were seated quickly and our two bowls of Pho were brought out at a reasonable time even despite all the people walking in, to-go orders being called in, etc.
The Pho we ordered was so delicious! When I eat pho (and I have had a LOT of pho), I usually focus on finishing all my noodles, meat and veggies and leave most of the broth. But this broth was absolutely delicious so I completely finished everything in my bowl! It was so cold today and this soup was the highlight of my entire day.
Also, customer service was great. It was so busy, but the waiter was friendly, and the lady who picked up our finished bowls had a pleasant smile and was very nice.
You have a returning customer!
