What an evening at the reopening of the charming Chez Antoinette in Covent Garden. From the moment you step inside, the room wraps you up in warmth. It feels intimate and welcoming, yet quietly elegant, with cosy details that make you feel instantly at ease while still very much out for the night.
The food was thoughtfully put together and full of character. We shared dishes like silky foie gras, deeply comforting sausage with lentils, and a rich chocolate cake to finish. Each plate arrived beautifully considered and delivered on flavour, the kind that makes conversation pause for a moment so everyone can savour it properly.
Chez Antoinette strikes that rare balance of feeling special without ever being stiff. It is heartfelt, generous, and genuinely memorable. An absolute must-visit, whether for a celebration or simply a very good evening well spent.

Been here once before but this time around it was mesmerising. Its always winter somehow that led us there. It was a very cute, quaint little french restaurant in the covent garden square. I wasn’t expecting much looking at the simple menu and mostly don’t understand what it means..
However, it was a pleasant surprise when we tasted the celery soup with goat cheese tartine. It’s actually very sexy. The food was indeed sexy. Ive not thought food could be sexy, but it was. The tangy got cheese with random blueberries was spot on. Of course we had to add salt to the soup.
Dessert we had a brownie- the french called it something special and it was indeed very special. It came with a side cream- like clotted cream but 10x finer. We were both pleasantly suprised.
Ended it all with french tea and was a perfect finish.

Never ever disappoints, wherever I am in London I have to visit. This trip was a weekend away to recharge so of course we had to come here for our evening meal. Apéro Platter was gorgeous, my wife’s not had this before but loved it all which was a bonus! Followed by lemon meringue and Creme Brûlée which were utterly gorgeous, we really liked the detail on the meringue . Not only is the food and drink consistently brilliant it’s the staff that make it as well, always so chatty and friendly which is why I keep coming back. Joyeux Noël à tous!

The staff are so friendly and quick, food was amazing and delicious and prices are unbelievable for central London!

I was craving for onion soup, and this is the best around, from the texture of the cheese, mixed with the flavour of the onions. The atmosphere and interior works well with each other, and the main dishes were filling and delicious. A very satisfying experience and meal!

Food: The sausages were delicious, but the lentils I would give a 1-star rating, as they had no flavour and the food was icy.
Service: One of the waiters was very good, but the waitress at the end was rude and looked forced to say Merry Christmas.
When coming back, I’d rather try another restaurant, or sit inside.
At the end, people were staring at me while eating, it was extremely uncomfortable.
No kids meal available!

It’s rare to find a gem in London that makes you feel you’re not in London. The restaurant is very cozy and warm with staff that are 10 times warmer and nicer. Emmanuel has been such a lovely host; I enjoyed the laughs as much as the food! will definitely go back.

Solid place to dine with a lovely atmosphere. There can be some line to be seated though – and it got a bit cold in November.
We didn’t really get traditional French food so can’t comment on that, but the eggs Benedict was alright. Nothing too special though.

They have just reopened after a refurb and the atmosphere service and food are like a warm blanket of love! Just what the world needs at the moment, spaces you feel taken care off in. The beef was perfect and a great wine list too! Can’t wait to come back.
