Friendly and helpful staff. Food from the buffet was better than the menu items. Bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was burnt to a crisp and inedible. There is a large amount of seating and the restaurant is doing a nice job with covid-related precautions.

I am very impressed with this Ponderosa. I’ve been to others that the food quality wasn’t nearly as good as here. The food here is hot when it’s supposed to be and cold when it should be. Everything I’ve tried was very good, chicken is tender and juicy (unlike some buffets) and I really like the salad bar which I don’t usually like at buffets. The service is great, they clear the plates and fill drinks quickly. Even managers work, clearing tables and helping wait staff. Excellent location

We ended up going to this location for a birthday dinner fairly late and they closed in 1.5 hours. The food was still well tended to and the service was great. I ordered the chopped steak well done and it came out quick and was very good. I was impressed at the variety of the dessert bar as well. Our server was attentive without hovering and she was extremely friendly and kind to my young children. This was a great dining option and we will definitely be returning.

The quality and selection on their buffet has gone down significantly over the years. There needs to be a larger buffet bar. With their new ”bar” it doesn’t allow for more items to be on there since they are in pans.
The staff are friendly and helpful, most of the time.

I remember when the dinners included the buffet at no additional charge and you could get steaks starting at $0.50 more than the price of the buffet, it would be nice if that was still the case.

This place has been reliable for decades, and will change owners in a few months. I hope for continued good steaks and good buffet. Prices reasonable, but buffet food is a bit bland and canned. Tips are solicited for servers even when you go get your buffet food. Better than average

My steak was tough, chewy, and full of stringy fat. The waitress was very nice and brought the manager over. He gave me a 5 dollar coupon for a 14 dollar meal. Not what I call good customer service. They could have comped the whole meal but did not. They just don’t have good meat there and this is not the only time I’ve gotten bad meat there. It happens a lot. Everything else was great! The wait staff is great too. Everything on the buffet is really good too. It’s sad they don’t buy better cuts of meat. I would say about every 5th time I go there I get a good cut of meat.

Ponderosa Steakhouse is pretty great to dine in. The place is clean and well kept up. Service was quick and easygoing. The whole buffet thing was expected. It’s buffet food, so, what do you expect, 5 star chef like stuff? It’s good for what it is. Food is cooked well, including desserts. The only thing that threw me off was atmosphere. I don’t know if it just because the day I went in, but the atmosphere and music was really… odd. I’m not saying music is something important when dining, but the music they were playing when I visited just struck a wrong chord in me. I don’t know why. My experience wasn’t bad, just off cause of it. Other than that, a decent place to dine at.
