The chicken pastor quesadillas were amazing! So flavorful! Every bite was delicious. Service was fast, and the customer service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. And the free soft serve ice cream at the end is always a wonderful treat!
A great experience and definitely ordering again!

Recently met with other family members here while on a road trip. We went early in the evening about 5:30 pm and waited perhaps 15 min for a table. This place is always busy so we recommend planning accordingly. Environment is festive and casual!
Our party ordered a variety of entrees including combination plates with enchiladas, tacos and queso dip. We also ordered guacamole.
The plates were served shortly after ordering and were hot and were very tasty. Our server was friendly and helpful.
One of the added features is a self-serve ice cream machine (a hit with families).
All in all a great experience! Highly recommended!

Had to come to College Station on a job. My son and I were told about this place. We stopped in and I am so glad we did. First off the atmosphere was awesome! The interior design of the restaurant was much more than I thought it would be. Our waitress, I believe her name was Brie, was one of the most attentive waitresses I have ever had. And the food, was excellent. My son had the beef fajitas and he said they were incredibly tender. I had a sampler plate and there was nothing on it that wasn’t first rate. The chips that they serve with the queso were perfect. The cheese stayed warm and liquidy. The chips are perfectly cooked. The refried beans that I had were some of the best that I have ever had and my son had the borracho beans and he said they were great as well. The beef enchiladas were covered in a perfect enchilada sauce and the rice was perfectly cooked. The nachos were tasty with the same fajita meat on them. The only disappointment I had was the guacamole. I told the waitress that if they were to season it a little and put a little onion maybe tomato or something in it, it would be on par with everything else. But it was still good. She then hit us with a tres leches cake at the end and it was the perfect ending to the meal. They also have free ice cream on the way out. However we were so stuffed we were unable to take part of that! I am so excited that she said they are building a new one in Austin Texas so I will only have to drive an hour to get to it. I pray that it is ran as well as this one was. As far as Mexican food this was one of the best outings I have had in a long long time. Definitely a five-star!!!

The service was next level. Emmy was hands down the best server we’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great time. You can tell when someone loves what they do and Emmy definitely does.
Food was delicious, everything came out fast and fresh, and the restaurant was spotless (yes, I notice that stuff ).
If you’re on the fence, go. Ask for Emmy. You won’t regret it.

We dined at Gringo’s in College Station and had a wonderful experience. The food and service were exceptional. The chips, hot queso, and their new Hatch Chile Quesadilla were absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly, and provided outstanding service throughout. The facility is warm and inviting, offering great complimentary ice cream that adds a sweet finishing touch. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable dining experience.

A TAMU/College Station institution. Came here in college and it’s still my go-to spot after games. Gringo’s is easily the best Tex-Mex in CStat — nothing else even comes close in my opinion.
Our server was wonderful and incredibly kind, especially with me being on crutches. True hospitality, the kind that reminds you why this place has such a loyal following in the area.
I also loved hate-watching the tu game with a bunch of other Ags after ours wrapped up — post game energy was great.
If you’ve never been, go! I wish we had one in Austin!

Had an awesome experience at Gringo’s College Station! Came in for a late lunch, and was seated almost instantly. Had great service, and got refills for chips and salsa.
The food portions were generous, and there were many delicious dips and sauces included with the food. Greatly appreciated that they did not skimp on avocado.
After our outstanding meal, we were pleasantly greeted by their free soft serve machine with vanilla, chocolate, and a swirl of both available for no additional charge. Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone in the area!

We were seated super quickly. The server was just not very good—I had to ask for silver ware 3x and she added food we didn’t even order. No one ever refilled our chips and salsa. But the food was good and the margarita tasted fresh. The inside of the restaurant was super cute and clean. Nice to get free ice cream at end.
