Visited the Kokapet branch of Little Italy for the first time, and the experience… well, it didn’t really leave much of an impression.
First things first:
The lighting is seriously bad. Not moody-bistro bad, but genuinely unpleasant, and it sets the tone right from the start.
Food-wise:
The Loaded Nachos were sadly not loaded—more like a teaser than the real thing.
The pizza and ravioli were fine. Nothing wrong, nothing memorable. Just… okay.
♂️ Overall vibe:
Everything landed squarely in the meh zone. No disasters, but no reasons to get excited either.
⭐ 3/5 — A familiar brand, but this outlet didn’t quite deliver. With better ambience and a bit more care, it could do better.
Crispy nachos topped with smooth cheese sauce and bright diced peppers looked very inviting. The cheese was mild and standard, making the overall dish satisfyingly crunchy, but not especially memorable.
### Potato Wedges with Dip
Golden potato wedges were served with a creamy dip. The wedges had good seasoning but lacked crispiness. The flavors were comforting but fairly average for a vegetarian buffet.
### Cheese and Chili Bruschetta ️
Bruschetta featured toasted bread, melted cheese, and chopped chilies. The hint of spice was pleasant and the appearance was colorful. However, the taste was just okay with dense bread and simple flavors.
### White Sauce Pasta
Vegetable pasta in a creamy white sauce delivered a mild taste. The sauce was smooth but could use more herbs and seasoning. It was filling, though not very distinctive in!!
We started our meal with garlic bread, which was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor – a great start that set the tone for the evening.
Next, we tried the Fantasy Pizza. While it was decent, it didn’t quite stand out compared to the other dishes.
However, the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Spinach Ravioli. It was absolutely delicious – rich, creamy, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
If you’re a fan of Italian cuisine, this spot is definitely worth a visit, especially for their pasta dishes.
1. Parking is ample they have two basement for parking
2. No wait however I already prebooked table from Swiggy dineout .
3. Food is ok ok. I mean none of dish in buffet standout . Everything is very much avg in taste . Something we eat in food court.
4. Service is slow , I found waiters took too much time to bring dishes. They were brining one dish then we need to wait 7-8mins before then bring another . For reorder a specific dish we have to wait . We went at 7pm which is non peak hour still found service to be slow.
5. Serving quantity is very less . Only pizza serving size I found satisfactory.
Best part of whole experience was I pre booked from Swiggy dineout I got 40% discount on overall bill so it kind of made it worthwhile.
Overall I would rate 3 star ..
Food was pretty good. Highly recommend the pasta barbresca
With similiar hope after planning and cancelling for multiple times I could finally visit this place. It’s for a dinner. To begin with its easy to reach with help of Google Maps, once we reached we were searching for how to get to restaurant. With help of Kala Kunj staff we got to know the way and reached.
Now ambience was ok. I was like what did they do to this branch and why. That was my first thought. Food menu was Ala-Carte and Buffet (7 Course Sit-Down Buffet). Having previous experience in mind I said let’s go for buffet and next visit we try Ala-Carte. Menu of Ala-Carte I posted along with this. To my utter dismay except Pizza and Ceasar Salad nothing was worth. Pasta was not cooked completely. On Nachos there was some yellow kind of cheese. Better I don’t talk about taste of it. Salsa was like u grind a tomato and give to us. Desert was absolutely waste. Some caramel pudding or whatever name they gave it was bitter. And Mango Cheese Cake, only the base was ok. I can’t imagine in the very small piece of desert served to us, we could not complete half of it.
When a brand is created and people have memories with it one comes back with a lot of hope and expectation to have similar memories with their loved ones. An experience like this only kills it in more than a way I can say.
I just hope the Chef focuses on how best the food can be made and the service team remebers the sequence in which food must be served and not serving a soup as a 5th dish in a 7 course meal despite multiple reminders.
I will still look forward to visit to try something in Ala-Carte and will for sure hope atleast then I will be able to have best experience from Food and Service aspects.
As for the food, it’s a paradise for vegetarians. I highly recommend the Lasagna; it’s incredibly rich and probably one of the best I’ve had in Hyderabad. Their wood-fired pizzas, like the Pizza Napoli, have that perfect thin, crispy crust. If you’re into something earthy, the Wild Truffle Mushroom Soup is a must-try starter.
That said, based on several visits and what others are saying, the experience can be a bit of a hit-or-miss. While the staff is generally knowledgeable and courteous, the service can slow down significantly during peak hours or weekends. Some dishes can also lean toward being a bit bland if you’re used to more “Indianized” flavors, but it’s authentic. It is a bit on the pricier side (expect to spend around ₹1,200–₹1,600 for two), but for the quality and the vibe, it’s worth a visit.
