We were staying here at the best western so we stopped in for breakfast on the day of checkout. I ordered the croissant royale and my husband ordered the French toast. Both were AMAZING! Wasn’t sure if id like the siracha aioli since I’m not the biggest fan of siracha, so I got it on the side instead of directly on the sandwich. But man it was good! I also switched the American cheese to white cheddar. They were happy to accommodate my requests. Would definitely reccomend the breakfast to anyone! Also had a beautiful view of the river from our booth!

The food was very good. First they brought out some good bread and with vinager and oil. We started by sharing a Ceaser salad then I had the lamb gnocchi and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed our meal. My husband asked about dessert as it was my birthday and they brought us a slice of chocolate cake for free. It was a great way to end our meal. The service was friendly. I would recommend eating here and I am sure we will again. The outdoor area was closed but looks like a great place to eat in the summer with views of the Columbia River. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

This restaurant has amazing views of the river. It doesn’t take reservations so you have to arrive early. We were seated within 5 minutes – we got there before six. The wait for outside on a Saturday was 25 mins. We chose inside mainly because it was a windy day. We ordered Cauliflower Arrabiata, Calamari (one of the best prepared fried calamari I have tested – Calabrian sauce went well), salmon and the sleeping beauty Alfredo. Each dish tasted fantastic. Service started off quick and we got our food promptly but then slowed down as the restaurant got busier. Highly recommend if you are staying in the hood river area. Check out the pics.

The food quality and choice, the setting, and the perfect attention from our server Kelly were top notch. I cannot say enough good things about it. It was a night to remember!

Excellent food at a good price. The portions were quite ample especially the kids’ Fish and Chips. I was especially pleased with the steak salad, it was practically two meals in one. The wait staff were attentive with a few exceptions. They certainly exceeded my expectations for Gen Z workers. (Sorry Zoomers, but where’s the burn, there’s fire, and I’m Lit). I’m looking forward to our next Hood River adventure so we can stop by for some more tasty food!

We had dinner here last night during our stay at the hotel, the food was divine. We started at the bar with a well mixed Old Fashioned and Manhattan.
For dinner in the main room, we had the mussels appetizer, cooked with white wine, olives and peppers, delicious bread on the side.
For our main courses, we had the Braised Lamb Gnocchi and Chicken Scallopine! Gnocchi was cooked perfectly, melted on the first bite, the lamb was tender, flavorful, delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, with shitake mushrooms, lemon and basil. The saffron risotto was also spot on, perfect compliment to the dish. We paired this with an amazingly delicious Blanco wine from local Analemma Winery.
Finally, we opted for their vegan chocolate cheesecake dessert!
Gotta say, this restaurant has great atmosphere, and our server was very attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience, recommend you do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t be disappointed

After entering Riverside we approached 4 different people and they all told us to see “the host”, without any further directions. After a while we found the host. When being asked where we wanted to be seated we’ve requested a table at the terrace. It was only 4 o clock and we weren’t sure whether or not we wanted to have diner so we ordered drinks (after quite a long wait actually). When the waitress came back we told her again we weren’t sure if we wanted to order food, it was still early. She kindly requested us to pay the bill and move to another area. This terrace was food only, at that moment there were 18 tables in total and only 3 were occupied. After that it was an easy decision of course: we weren’t gonna have diner over there anymore. After finishing our drinks we went somewhere else to have diner. Even though the “drinks only” section was also very nice, the experience at this place was not nice unfortunately.

We had a very nice breakfast here as a family before checking out. The kids’ menu items were especially good so my older kids got two each: granola yogurt bowl and the pancakes. My chorizo on brioche was amazing. We even ended with a slice of carrot cake and were glad we did. We were at a busy spot close to the entrance to the kitchen but still had a nice view of the river. It was busy at prime breakfast time and I had to flag down the server for coffee refills but we didn’t wait too long for our food and had very good service other than that.
