So I drive by this place often – close by my house yet set off in a distance almost looks like a secret meet up place when your parking. The building is black.. Without any windows, mysterious like am I really at a restaurant? Walk in still wondering if Im in a restaurant. The seating is dim yet vibey depending where your sitting you get a different type of feel, bar, at the tables and theres even a lounge area with different types of chair/seating, vintage almost. Stick with me here.
We came on Valentines day so the table seating was dim with 1 candle and an image projected Saying happy Valentine day. This was very cute. Then we get the menu, everyone orders something different best friend got the vodka drink flights, guy got the whisky sour and I got a cute like flower power drink. All were amazing.
We order so much food CRISPY BRUSSELS HAD MY HEART. Ribs were flavored giving 2 different bbq dipping, and HONEY. THE honeyhot chickens omg amazing. They give these cute pickled onions on the side very good, my friend got some lettuce wraps if you want a healthy option. Let me tell you were were amazed with the food FLAVORS and the vibe inside it was all amazing and would have never expected this looking from the outside. prices seemed reasonable, matched the food quality. Waiter was attentive. For how the food taste, more people need to be here. Make a stop here!

my boyfriend & I came here last night for Valentine’s Day (with a reservation we only waited 5 mins which is awesome with you guys being so busy) ordered the brisket and the pulled pork, incredible!!! my go to is the moriondo (their version of an espresso martini) and it always hits the spot. My family & I have been coming here for years and it’s always hit the spot. Great staff, great food and great drinks. I also appreciate the dark atmosphere with cozy seats if you choose.

So I just recently found out that this place has pizza seen it out of the corner of my eye driving past it. Just a heads up to everyone this is Detroit style pizza this place sells. I am in fact a fan of Detroit style but they call it steel pan pizza which apparently means Detroit style I only mention this because you can’t really tell by the pictures that your getting Detroit style and I only got one pizza and usually when I get Detroit style I get two different kinds. But very good pizza the other picture is burnt ends those were very good.

I saw this place recommended on TikTok. I’ve lived in the area for nearly 11 years and had never been, so we decided to try it for the first time. Here’s my honest feedback.
Before heading over, we checked their website and OpenTable and saw plenty of availability, so we didn’t think a reservation was necessary. We walked in around 6:30 PM and were asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, the host immediately told us there would be a 45-minute wait. Her delivery came off a bit abrasive and not very welcoming. The customers who walked in right after us were told the same thing.
We checked OpenTable again while standing there and nothing had changed, so we booked the next available reservation at 6:45 PM. After waiting just a couple more minutes, another group came in and was given the same 45-minute wait explanation. We then overheard that bar seating might be available, so instead of waiting, we decided to check that option.
At first glance, there were plenty of open tables on the dining floor and several seats available at the bar, so we’re still unclear why there was supposedly a 45-minute wait. There also didn’t appear to be any large event or private function happening in other rooms.
Once seated at the bar, the experience improved. The bartenders and servers were friendly, attentive, and helpful. We reviewed the menu and ordered the platter that’s been going viral on TikTok.
As for the food: the coleslaw was unimpressive and honestly a turnoff—it tasted like it had been sitting out for quite some time. The pickles were mediocre, and the cornbread was served cold, almost as if it came straight from the fridge (not sure if that’s intentional). We didn’t ask to speak with a manager, as these felt like minor issues and we’re not the type to make a fuss.
The meats, however, were very good—no complaints there. That said, having experienced true Southern BBQ in places like Memphis, South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas, this doesn’t quite compare. Still, it’s slightly above average for BBQ and comfort food overall.

Went here on a Saturday night for the first time here and there was no wait, which is always a plus!

Ordered the egg rolls for an appetizer which were very good. I like Mikes Hard Lemonade (I think all flavors are good) but they don’t offer them here . But the bartender was nice enough and more importantly experienced enough to make me something equivalent that was delicious… so that kinda made up for it lol.

Our Smash burgers were very good and overall it was a great experience!

The pork belly was amazing! The Brussels sprouts were amazing! The pizza? Not so much. They advertise it as Detroit/steel pan style so I was expecting something delicious for $23.50, but when I received it I was disappointed. The crust was decently crisp but I had to toss the slices on a pan to crisp up the underside. Two of the slices had bubbles so no one wanted to eat a slice that had half the amount of cheese on it. If I ever go back I’ll just steer clear of the pizza.

As soon as we walked in, the hostess was abrasive, telling us that they weren’t accepting walk-ins unless you could find a spot at the bar (there were many seats at the bar). Once we ordered our food it came out all out of order. We were finished with our fries 10 minutes before any of the rest of our food came out. The cornbread was cold as if it had just been taken out of the fridge, and the wings were ok, cooked well but barely any sauce on them. The place is huge, I feel like they could do a lot more with the space, especially telling us we weren’t allowed to sit at a table when there were many tables open.

Stopped in for the first time after driving past the building and feeling intrigued. Elias the bartender provided excellent service and Lindsey was very helpful with suggestions. To start, the ambiance was moody with dim lighting, eclectic multi-colored arm chairs in a lounge area for cocktails, industrial accents and amazing lighting. The space visually stimulating. I started off with the Banana Maple Old Fashioned and finished with the Spicy Mezcal cocktails, both were crafted, freshly made and garnished beautifully (they were amazing). For an appetizer I selected from the table share, Bacon Burnt Ends with a side of Mac & cheese (cooked to perfection) and was delicious. For my entree I chose the Chicken & Waffles and was so delicious and aromatic with a sweet scent. For dessert, I decided to go savory and wanted to try the pretzels which are freshly made. Everything I tried here was the food experience I was hoping for fresh, quality, crafted. This was a 5-star experience with carefully curated menu offering a variety of dishes for all flavor palates. I enjoy restaurants that offer something unique compared to other local restaurants and Boundary really impressed me. I will definitely go back. Service was friendly, engaging and provided an overall exceptional first time here. Parking is available for free in two lots on site next to restaurant. Overall, phenomenal taste in everything I tried.

2nd Visit- Weekend brunch- With how great my first experience was I was interested in trying out their brunch options. I sat at the bar and received service from Dillon and Tom which were also very personable and helpful with suggesting what selection of meat would compliment the breakfast plate’s best. I had the Pit Benny with Beef Brisket, the flavor once again was amazing and I didn’t have to use salt or pepper for additional seasoning. The home fries were cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp to them which I love. The brunch cocktail menu is unlike any other place I’ve been to with a great selection of many crafted cocktails with craft ingredients. I had “Mr. Browns Vacation” a whiskey cocktail that complimented my breakfast experience after I was finished. Looking forward to checking out the patio and outdoor vibes on my next visit.

This place was a pleasant surprise. The quality of food that this kitchen seems to produce surpasses my expectations given it’s location. The service seemed slightly disjointed/disorganized. Took forever to get drinks and food, given that it wasn’t that busy. I will tell you despite that, this place is definitely going to be worth a second look! If you have the opportunity, check it out!
