Food was awesome ! Coffee was hot and fresh, HIGHLY RECOMMEND . Josiah was our waiter and he was very kind and polite, we had zero issues. Food came out hot and fresh eggs were cooked perfectly sunny side up, round of applause to the people in the back cooking .. I hope you see this and know you’re doing a damn good job .

My husband and I got off the plane in Pensacola and needed some place to eat breakfast. I found this place on Yelp and we stopped in. It has a very “homey” feel. We were immediately sat down, met by our waiter- Justin- and then serviced. The food was delicious. The potatoes were left because I was full. Justin was an excellent waiter. Everything was great. I would recommend this place- 10/10.

My wife and I, along with two of our friends, finally had the chance to visit Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch — a spot that had been on our “must-try” list for quite some time. My wife had been especially excited, and we were all looking forward to seeing what the buzz was about.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with wonderful hospitality. We were seated immediately and welcomed by our waitress, Melissa, who was an absolute standout. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the visit. Her friendliness and professionalism really set the tone for the meal. Hospitality was an A+++ experience — thank you, Melissa!

The Meals
• My wife ordered the Panhandle Scramble — scrambled eggs over an English muffin with sausage, smothered in sausage gravy, and served with home fries and grits. She loved it, and after sneaking a bite myself, I can say it was absolutely delicious. Easily a 10/10 dish.
• I went with the Cambridge Omelette, which featured thick, fluffy eggs with ham, cheese, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce, plus an English muffin. Rich, hearty, and satisfying — another 10/10.
• One of our friends ordered the Mexican Skillet. He wasn’t impressed with the refried beans, which he felt nearly ruined the dish, though he still enjoyed the rest once he worked around them. He gave it a 6/10, but mentioned it could be better without the beans.
• His wife ordered eggs with a side Belgian waffle. Unfortunately, the waffle came out burnt on the bottom and was extremely tough. She struggled to even cut into it, and after one bite, she decided to leave it untouched. She chose not to complain, simply because Melissa was so wonderful, and she didn’t want to sour the positive vibe of the visit.

Value
For both my wife’s meal and mine, with drinks included, the total was around $37 (before tip). Pricing felt reasonable and in line with what we’d expect for a hearty breakfast outing.

Final Thoughts
Overall, my wife and I had a great experience, and we’ll definitely be returning. While our friends’ meals weren’t perfect, the service, atmosphere, and our own dishes left a very positive impression. Taylor’s has great potential, and with just a little more consistency in the kitchen, it could easily be a five-star experience across the board.

Recommended — and we’ll be back!

Taylor’s was recommended to us by the owner of another restaurant in Pensacola!
So glad we stopped in. We had great, friendly service with Darlene- super person.
Food/coffee are very good for a fair price.
The dining room and rest rooms are super clean. They open early at 7am.
We will definitely come back.
Highlight recommend.

While on a visit to Pensacola, I had the opportunity to have bunch here and was not disappointed in any way. I learned afterward this little restaurant is locally legendary for their breakfast offerings.

I had about a 10 minute wait for a table. In that time, I observed the venue was clean and certainly well loved by patrons and staff alike. Once seated, my coffee was fresh and pretty robust in flavor. I ordered the “Classic Breakfast” (scrambled eggs, sausage and a pancake). Imagine my surprise when the pancake was between 12-14 inches around. More so, it was prepared in such a way that the bottom was a little more done than the top. Why mention this? This is a trick very experienced makers use to allow a pancake (or waffle) to soak up syrup yet stay firm to cut and eat.

My server was very attentive and checked on my needs with good frequency. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with my experience and my meal at Taylor’s.

Stumbled upon Taylor’s as we were going home from vacation. Great food, portion sizes, prices, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We had Ami and we never had to ask for anything. Such a great experience, we’re already looking forward to coming back. The sausage gravy biscuit meal & apple cinnamon pancake meal were devoured this morning and it was the perfect close for our stay in Florida.

Stopped in around 11:30. It wasn’t terribly busy, we had no wait, other than the cashier/hostess checking out another guest. My husband and I had both decided what we wanted to eat before the server got to us. We both asked for iced tea, I asked for lemon, yet never got it. Someone else dropped our food off. Food was great, eggs cooked perfectly, bacon delicious, etc… Unfortunately, we didn’t see our server again. Both of our glasses were empty, no one offered refills.

There were maybe 7 or 8 tables being used. It wasn’t like they were busy. Somewhat disappointed that no one checked on us until after our meal was finished.

We’ll be back, one experience isn’t going to stop me from going.

I had previously left a really good review about this place before, but today was not impressive. They messed up our food completely. They did get it right the 2nd time but our first visit was much better. Then they charged us double for a platter that we had to send back because they added ham after we asked for none. I don’t think we’ll be going back. Our service was good though.
