Four of us arrived at 5:50 PM and were greeted right away. By 6:00, Bri had taken our drink order. She was excellent — knowledgeable, helpful, great with people, and incredibly quick on her feet. Within five minutes, our drinks arrived (Bud Light bottle, Busch draft, Sprite, and a Jim Beam on the rocks ).
We ordered food shortly after, and by 6:12 PM everything was on the table. That kind of speed is impressive.
Our meals:
• 2× Chicken Fried Chicken
• Chicken Tender Meal ( honey mustard dip excellent hope it was homemade)
• Single Bacon Burger + Tots little greasy and too much toppings
I ate half my burger — great flavor, just a bit greasy and messy with all the toppings. One chicken meal was finished on the spot (mashed potatoes + gravy were excellent), and the other half went home. Overall, the food was very delicious.
One question: an added “operation fee” appeared on the bill. Not sure what that covers — would appreciate clarification. $1.80 added but tax then tax again that is like charging for water but guessing it is credit card fee???
We paid $38.82, plus a $10 tip, for a total of $48.82. For two alcoholic drinks, two meals, and food delivered in 10–12 minutes, that’s outstanding service and kitchen efficiency. Compliments to the chef — those buns were excellent!

Loved this place. I’m from out-of-town but used to live nearby. Met old friends here on Taco night. Server gal was friendly, awesome. Tacos were also great. I’d definitely be returning for more visits here. Great place. Thanks.

A few people recommended, good menu options, food was very good. Typical bar atmosphere, busy in game day and loud. Like most places, busy staff; I ordered the brunch hangover burrito with ham (came with just ham, egg, and cheese, no flair), wife ordered the 10″ (small) pizza because $2 off small pizza on Saturdays AND she can’t eat a large pizza. But they brought a large pizza, charged us for a large pizza, and did not give the $2 off for the pizza she ordered. Anyone want some leftover pizza? .

We went on Wednesday night, super busy but our waitress was really great. The best part (unexpected) was the magician. He is so funny and full of personality. My grandsons were there and they were totally engaged and enjoyed this so much. Would recommend seeing him if you haven’t ❤️

Good Life always has great food. They used to allow cash payment to eliminate the processing fee. Now they charge a fixed 3% operations fee and include that in your subtotal, but no longer allow a cash payment to remove it. The service is always pretty slow. It would be nice to see some more local tap options from places like Pint 9 or Kinkaider. I don’t know if they ever clean the men’s bathroom – it is always a mess by the evening. I live pretty close to this restaurant, so it’s a frequent go-to place for picking up dinner; however, I would not drive more than 10 minutes to go here.

Excellent atmosphere. It was clean and the food came out quickly once we ordered. We had a terrific waitress Bri. She was friendly and very helpful. There food was good. The taco salad was the best that I’ve had. 15/10 stars. Go try them. Yes it was a little loud but there was a game on. We had no trouble having a conversation even with the noise.

Food is great, atmosphere good, service superior but why am I getting charged an operations fee? I was initially told it was a fee for using a card however this appeared before I even paid. This is a bullshit fee that couldn’t be explained by the staff. Is this a charge you’re given from your vendor being passed down??
If you want more money in your pockets just increase your prices. Don’t add bullshit fees because you can.

I got the boneless wings from here today and I was extremely disappointed. The “boneless wings” were not fried, but actually just chunks of cooked meat with sauce on them. They had a little bit of breading but the meat was extremely dry and chewy. This was extremely disappointing and I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Everyone at my table was complaining of their food being extremely dry and no amount of ranch was saving the food. The flavors were fine and we ate our food, but will not be returning.
