Legendary restaurant with a courtyard, offering daily jazz brunches with a buffet of Creole classics and à la carte dinner.

Beautiful location! The outside courtyard is wonderful, very charming! The inside dining area is more formal and also beautiful. The bar is great! We ate the morning buffet and b I y, it was fantastic! We both loved the turtle soup. The drinks were made to perfection. The three-piece band were very good. The service was stellar! Be sure to make reservations.

A wonderful evening dining experience with twinkling lights overhead and a jazz band playing at a nearby hotel.
We started with sharing a table side prepared Caesar salad. Ashley, our server, playfully prepared a delicious salad describing each ingredient as she whisked it all together.
We followed the salad with Blackened Redfish served with a creole shrimp fried rice. The fish and rice were served atop a tasty pineapple beurre blanc. The fish was perfectly seasoned and plentiful. It’s a dish I will dream about it was that delicious.
We were lucky to have Ashley as our server and had lots of fun bantering with her.

Highly recommend the outdoor patio for your dining experience. We had reservations, but were told the patio fills up quickly. The food was excellent. Our server seemed very annoyed by her job. The rest of the staff were extremely friendly and engaging. A definite must is the bananas foster. Literally Heaven in your mouth. We’d definitely return when in NOLA again.

So disappointed. I have been coming here for over 25yrs, I hyped this place up so much to my fiance and felt embarrassed when we left. When we arrived the place wasn’t that busy (surprising for dinner service) we ordered mocktails and gumbo to start with Sherry Turtle soup. The table beside us sent back the gumbo 3 times!!! So, I should have known something was off. The gumbo didn’t even have a taste, was cold and had shredded meat in it. The Sherry Turtle soup was ok but way too thick for soup. Our entrees was Creole pasta (it was runny) and I had the Catfish and crawfish etoufee, (the fish was pungent and the crawfish etoufee was too thick and tasteless). Service was slow and our waitress had to be asked several times to bring items we previously requested, and completely forgot my fiances ice cream. The banana fosters however, was delicious. I am not sure if they have a new chef, manager or what but it definitely was not what I remember. 🙁

Jazz brunch here is a must for any visit to New Orleans! The buffet exceeded expectations and was some of the best food we had on our trip. The beautiful live music in the magical courtyard atmosphere is unbeatable. Definitely will be back!

Loved the live jazz, great options on the buffet. Turtle soup and many other local favorites in addition to the usual breakfast/brunch fare! We were able to eat without reservations. The courtyard was beautiful but we sat inside where we could hear the music better. Excellent service!

Went for the daily jazz brunch. Enjoyed being seated on the largest courtyard in New Orleans. The weather was perfect, and the music was wonderful. The brunch was filling, and I would do it again for a special occasion.

Definitely recommend. Food was amazingly delicious. All the staff were personable, friendly and helpful. It’s upscale buffet style with a great options and outdoor dining on the brick patio. Everything was amazing. But I recommend Definitely putting the curry chicken on the plate and definitely try the banana foster for dessert, you won’t be disappointed.

The reservations was an easy online process for the same morning. Upon arrivial I was immediately greeted by the front hostess and was seated. It was an early Tuesday brunch so the guest head count was light. My head server has Ms. Ashley who went right ti work and advised me of my drink and menu options. This was my second time here so I already knew that i wanted the breakfast bar. If you are new to New Orleans, then the breakfast bar can give you a lit of the local food tastings. From boiled shrimp, gumbo, jambalaya, all the way to Duck à l’orange. The options change so you never know what you’ll see. Ms. Ashley had my drinks even before I returned with my plate of Andouille sausage, bacon, potatoes, and jambalaya. I never had to wait too long for drink refills and each server was courteous and friendly. The dinning area also had a three piece band that played which was enjoyable. TCOTS will be a crown jewel of the French Quarter for me for the foreseeable future.

This was the worst restaurant I ate at in New Orleans. The hype must be keeping this place open because it’s definitely not about the food. The service was the best thing about it. The waitress I had was very friendly although they were busy. The gentleman serving the steak was very friendly. But the food just tasted so bad. Nothing was seasoned. I had to get full off of the mashed potatoes because nothing else was tasting good other than the steak that may have actually been roast because it did not taste like ribeye steak, and the pecan sweet potatoes. I would not go back here again. Also for some reason all of the seating was outside although there was plenty of open tables and in fact no one was seated inside for some reason. I sampled just about everything on the menu except for the salad/fruit bar because I’m allergic to some of those items and was hard to find anything that I liked. The catfish didn’t really taste like catfish, it could have been swai. The texture was very odd. The cornbread was gummy and cold. The desserts were the best thing there but even they did not taste that good except for the sauce on the bananas foster, and the pecan pie. The ice cream tasted like it may have been homemade but it was very melted and you had to scoop your own serving from the bottom which could possibly be unsanitary since people have to stick their hand in the bucket pretty deep. I’m not sure if the chefs are being told to under season the food because it definitely has potential but there was even a lack of salt in the food! Overall I would not return here and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they just want to see for their self.
