Came in for dinner around 7, the restaurant was pretty full but we still got a table. Ordered some margaritas for some reason they took forever.. but once we got them they were pretty tasty.. I got the tortilla soup bowl it was hearty a little different with huge chunks of carrots, also ordered the fish taco and a tostada plate on the senior menu.. the senior specials are sooooo reasonable! Basic choices but so worth it.. my friends really enjoyed the rice and beans.. the tables and chairs definitely need some updating..good salsa!

Love the new place. The food was great as usual (we come here whenever we are in town). Our bus person, Isabella was awesome. Greatest personality and service. She didn’t let our drinks, salsa or chips get low. If we owned a place, we would steal her!

I’m not sure how you give these folks less than 5 stars.
The service is fantastic, plenty of attention, never an empty glass. Margaritas are spot on.
Food was fantastic – hot, pretty quickly brought out, and nice and seasoned. Really enjoyed our visit and looking forward to exploring the menu.

My favorite Mexican food restaurant in Pinetop. The chips are fresh. The salsa is a mild and a hot if you ask. Very good flavors of both.
The servers are nice and work their tails off to serve you. If you’re lucky, you just may see Sal himself floating around and serving customers as well. He is very kind. Occasionally there is a man who comes and plays music while you eat too. That’s enjoyable.
The food is always good. I love the fajitas the best. The rice has a decent flavor. The beans are better than the rice. All pricing is very reasonable.
The only thing I don’t recommend is the white queso dip. It was ordered with the chips and salsa. The cheese is watery and not worth the $6.
Visit, enjoy and eat like a local!!

Beware the website they have up is not their website any longer, even though it has correct name, address, number etc. I ordered tamales to go, which where listed as $24 on their website, then got charged $42. When asked if they would honor their online pricing they would not. She said they do not maintain the website anymore and it is not accurate. I would suggest taking it down if it is not accurate. They told me if I wanted a refund I’d have to come back 4 hours later, which I was not able to do because I was heading out of town.

We’ve been going to Sal and Teresa’s for almost ten years. Their food and service are outstanding. The new location in Pinetop is a huge upgrade and worth the drive from Show Low!
