THE SPECIAL 1 THESPECIAL1
I’m leaving a review because you would think going to a place every day or every few days for the same thing & having the same previous problem that it wouldn’t occur again. However, that wasn’t the case. I let Mr Sung know that his cooks were giving me burned onions or onions that had been laid on the side of the grill & he assured me that it’ll not happen again. Also, he gave me my food the 1st incident free. I always get a side of grilled chicken with extra onions; a Strawberry-Mango smoothie & sometimes Cinnamon Roll French toast. **I CAN’T TAKE NOTHING AWAY FROM THE FLAVOR OF THE CHICKEN, SMOOTHIE NOR FRENCH TOAST. THEY’RE ALL ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!** But, I won’t tolerate burned, old (all day on the grill) onions. They’re nasty & I shouldn’t have to deal with that. So, Mr Sung please know I’ll do a review when your cooks to deliberately give me burned onions!!!!!

It’s a cozy little cafe. I came here on a Tuesday so it wasn’t very busy. I can see it getting crowded very easily. I got a vanilla latte, mushroom omelette & a short stack. Food was okay overall. The omelette could’ve been cooked a little longer but was still good! Pancakes were kinda spongey, wouldn’t recommend unless you like that. Latte was good too. Spent about $30.

We went on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM and it was extremely crowded . We were greeted, handed menus and told to order at the counter. We grabbed the only table available so that we could sit down while choosing what we wanted since we hadn’t been there before. After placing the order, our food came out in about 10 minutes. But the girl at the counter, forgot to give us our cups for coffee so we didn’t know that the coffee wouldn’t be served, girl at the counter should have given My husband our coffee cups so that we could make our own coffee at the coffee bar. Portions are small compared to the price. I had waffles and they were not crispy at all. They were very soft and spongy like pancakes. The chicken was about a quarter inch thick, size of my hand, breaded very thick. Flavor was ok. My husband and daughter had crêpes. My Daughter was served one crêpe with some Nutella and strawberries . And My husband had the Baltimore crêpe. Served with a salad that flavors didn’t match the entrée. They both said that they crispiness of the crêpe made it taste more like a tortilla, too thick. The best thing I can say about this café is that they had freshly brewed Hawaiian Kona coffee and it was superb.

Good brunch spot! Nice laid back atmosphere and very approachable. It wasn’t too crowded during our visit and we felt quite relaxed. I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich that was essentially egg, cheese, crispy hash brown, and a tasty sauce. I thought it was a unique dish with flavors that worked quite well together. Service was great as well. Enjoyed it!

It has more of a diner vibe than a cafe vibe; the food and service are better than nearby diners like Ellicott City diner and Double TT diner. I also appreciate the diversity of the (friendly and efficient) staff.

Great breakfast food. But also your staff that’s in the cashier, the girl that is wearing black today is kinda rude and not so pleasant! She needs to learn of how to do a customer service. I’ve been with a customer service for 7 years and the way she act, I don’t even want to go back if she’s there. I place an order and trying to take a #, she said I don’t need too…okay then she serve my food on my right side where I don’t sit without saying anything. Review your cam!

An amazing breakfast place tucked away in a little office complex. The food is excellent and the service is welcoming.
My kids love the various Nutella breakfast foods, and I am always able to find delicious full breakfast entrees for more savory tastes such as kimchi fried rice.
A real neighborhood treasure!

I really wanted to give 5 stars until I thought if I would want to recommend this place to anyone and I immediately realized that I wouldn’t. This is why. The food was just ok. Nothing amazing. And the portions were small. The prices were too high for the portions and that is the #1 reason why I wouldn’t go back there. I got the triple berry cheesecake pancakes entree and the meat lovers omelet (approximately 2 eggs) and one sausage patty. Again, small pancakes and very small omelet. I didn’t get anything to drink and my bill was $36.57 + a $5 tip in advance. Now I’ve been to other restaurants where I paid that much for an omelet and pancakes but everything was exceptional. This place was far from exceptional. I wish I could get my money back but I’ll just have to settle and not go there any more. I must point out that the omelet came with a very small portion of browned potatoes and my choice of bread. A dry English muffin. I could go on with my dissatisfaction but I think I got my point across. If you are going to charge these crazy high prices then give me my money’s worth. I purposely got what I wanted so that I could honestly rate them from the point of a real meal. IHOP is much cheaper and tastes way way better. To be honest, McDonald’s would be better and cheaper.

Place is always crowded! Everytime I come here the food is very good! The service is also amazing! Today I was grossed out. I went to take the last bite of my French toast and found a couple hairs. It made my stomach turn. I would still recommend this place because they have amazing food and service, just check you food before you dig in!

My first time eating here and I will definitely be returning. The service was quick and the food was delicious. AND they have oat milk as an option for coffee. Bonus on my book ✨
