I had the pleasure of visiting Pepe’s last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The bartenders were exceptionally attentive, and Rachel and Jamie crafted some truly delicious and welcoming drinks. I particularly enjoyed the chips and salsa. The DJ played an excellent selection of throwback songs, and the atmosphere felt safe and secure, with polite security staff. The restrooms were also very clean. I have no complaints and eagerly anticipate my next visit. I believe this establishment deserves more patrons.

I enjoy coming in here and visiting with the people. It’s usually quiet, which is perfect when you want to enjoy good company and catch up. The staff is friendly but never pushy, and they don’t rush you out the door like some places do. You’re encouraged to relax and enjoy your meal—which I really appreciate.
Their chips and salsa are my go-to—always fresh and satisfying—and Margarita Mondays are a fabulous choice when you need to de-stress. I especially love getting my margarita with a sugar rim; it’s a simple touch that makes the drink even better.
I also really enjoyed the surf and turf—the surf and turf burrito has been amazing every time I’ve ordered it. It was the last thing I got here, and hands down, it was really tasty. I’d recommend getting it dry or asking for the sauce on the side, especially if you’re sensitive to heat. The flavor’s still fantastic either way, and it’s one of my top picks.
Definitely one of my favorite local spots—worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a relaxed, flavorful experience.

When half of the community says “dont go there”, then dont go there.
We showed up for taco Tuesday, not a server in sight. We waited 10 minutes, untill I had to walk around to find a server. Finally found a waitress that was just hanging out, not doing anything. I asked if it was open seating and she said “sure”.
We order 2 margaritas. 30 minute goes by and the waitress asked us “what did you order again”.
After 10 more minutes, we were about to leave and a new blonde waitress introduced herself and apologized. After that every thing came out quick and she kept apologizing. The Cadillac margaritas were syrupy, glass was warm, but had alot of alcohol. They were 16$ during happy hour.
The tacos were not that good, drinks sucked, service was super slow untill the new waitress. Won’t be going there again.

I absolutely loved this place. The hidden bar in the back is massive and full of tv’s, TouchTunes jukebox, and a Golden Tee arcade cabinet which is how I found the place and why I came. The bartenders were so friendly and attentive I cannot wait to return. Thank you for the great service!

Pepe’s is a great local restaurant with excellent service and tasty food. It’s conveniently located between the 15 and the 215 outside the main gate of Canyon lake. It’s super big inside and has a large bar area, dining area and even a banquet kind of area game room. All the food is really good and the margaritas all are tasty. Standouts for me were the fajitas, the enchiladas and don’t sleep on Pepe’s burrito and the queso dip is pretty bomb too.

Well I’ll be damned, never thought as a Latino, that I would find a tasty and authentic Mexican restaurant. My god Hayley, was on tip top service and was super attentive. The food we got were chilaquiles and wings. The red salsa, you can taste all the spices especially the Chile Puya. Chips were crispy and salsa was tasty. The wings were crispy crunchy on the outside but super tender on the inside. Not overly cooked. Sunday mornings are quite but they have brunch specials!!! Highly recommend!!

Walked in on a Thursday at 3pm with my 7 month old baby, absolutely dead no one there. The Caucasian Hostess didn’t want to be there and hated his job, I mean that’s what I can only assume for the lack of all customer service and even appreciation for at least having a customer. When a customer just asked to see what a size looks like and you say “it’s gonna take me a while but sure” and come back a second later (meaning you just wanted to complain for doing your job) Lord have mercy, when I give places a shot this is what I get, No Thanks! I’ll continue to support authentic Mexican restaurants. Hope your day gets better sir.

This was our first time trying Pepe’s out and we really enjoyed it. We went on a Saturday night so there was a live band and that was fun!
We ordered fajitas, the pepe burrito and the chips and white queso (which we really enjoyed). Everything was made fresh and hot and the portions were huge!
We will definitely be adding this to the regular rotation.

First time here…service was excellent. Food was delicious I had the cheese enchiladas in the red sauce, rice and beans. Beans had a great flavor. Service was excellent got a refill without having to ask for one, chips and salsa were filled quickly. Would highly recommend trying Pepe’s when your in the area. They were dressed up for the Halloween season.

Every local knows Pepe’s sucks in the way IHop sucks. The food is always mediocre but it is convinent and know what you are getting. Don’t come here in hopes of good food, but come here in hopes of some drinks to get drunk and a table to hang out with your friends.
