The food was good but the place could be a bit brighter! Hard to locate our server kept flagging down other people who told us they’d pass the message to our server. The steaks are good! Ask for the bigger option (good for big eaters or bigger families) as it’s not on the menu. The drinks are ok.

The Keg has become a glorified fast food restaurant. We started off with chicken wings and slider. The wings were so greasy and the bread for the slider was stale. Found out the oil they use is Canola oil, probably GMO which is not considered good. Then shared a blackened Cajun chicken meal and I could not even have one bite it was so salty! Hardly any veggies to go with it. Oh and there’s no more three cheese butter?! They are certainly charging a lot for meals and not even providing a good meal. The server was very nice and the atmosphere was ok slightly noisy.

We went to the restaurant with no reservation as it was referred to us by our barber to come to this location.

There’s a lot of parking, more so in the back

We went inside and the greeter was busy with seating others, than answered a call and then didn’t greet us quite yet so we sat until a small family came in and went straight to her.

She tended to them with no eye contact and stated that there is a 30 minute wait which they were fine with and then we mentioned came and we’re waiting to be greeted for a table for 2. Regardless of the lack of attention from the host, the waitresses were very nice and attentive. We got a seat in the lounge area right away.

We ordered the:

Blackened chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted veggies (string beans and carrots). The chicken thickness was amazing, it was a large piece of chicken that had a large dollop of butter on top. The chicken was very tender and juicy with nice flavor.

Salmon with extra honey mustard, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli could have had some flavoring or butter, but everything else was delicious.

We ended with the night with Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was delicious! Our server shared that people will come in just for that dessert which makes complete sense. The prune cake (which sounds weird but it doesn’t taste anything like prunes) is very moist and has a bit of a crunch possibly from the caramel/toffee.

There’s quite a bit of that sauce on the bottom but it’s mellowed out by the icecream on top. I’d definitely recommend trying the dessert!

The steak out Caesar was very good. Nice thickness and spice. The rim wasn’t too salty. It came with an asparagus and beef jerky. It was a good one!

Was a busy night but staff ran the place well & were polite! Watched bartenders work hard but handling everything then placing their fingers on the rims of every unstemmed glass, and on the end of every straw. Watched servers sort through the garnishes and also handle straws and cups by the rims. These are bartending level 1 no-nos!!
Food was top notch but didn’t get our bread until the appies showed up, then it was taken away before it was done.
Interior was classy but didn’t speak to the building’s exterior. Fairly noisy inside but it was really busy & this was a Monday! Will visit again.

Fantastic food and truly exceptional service! After I got home, I realized I had accidentally left a few gift cards at my table. The staff went above and beyond — they found them and safely set them aside for me. I’m so grateful for their honesty and care. I can’t wait to come back for another amazing dinner!

Usually I stop by for happy hour due to personal time constraints but the food is excellent without breaking the bank. I’ve tried almost all of their happy hour menu and I have to say their tuna tartare and Brussels sprouts dish is by far my personal favorite to go.

At some point I would like to try their dinner menu but for now a bar review will have to suffice.

Went for our 42nd anniversary and I have to say Patrick made our night awesome.
Had 2 lobster tail dinners, but it was our server Patrick that made our night really enjoyable he went the extra mile.

The other thing that was great was having the butter served in the candle dishes in Abbotsford they just bring the butter in a small bowl already heated

Ella, our server, was a breath of fresh air — a true natural who genuinely connects with her guests. You can tell she really embraces her career, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish.

We were celebrating our 10-year anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. The experience was so good that the two of us ended up spending almost $200 without even ordering alcohol.

Fantastic service, great atmosphere, and a night we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back

We come here quite often. Unfortunately yesterday we were very disappointed. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was beyond over cooked. It took crispy to a whole new level. We were shocked they even gave it to us. We didn’t complain at the time because it wasn’t worth it but just figured they should know since we were one of the first people to be served in the restaurant yesterday so being busy wasn’t an excuse.
