As mentioned by other reviewers and noticeable in the menu, this place is insanely overpriced. I can’t believe I paid $33 plus tax for a hamburger. The bill for two people with tip was over $90. In fact this makes it the most expensive place in the area short of exclusive fine dining.
Your paying are Payne nice fine dining prices for diner level food, good diner food with sizable portions, but still way way overpriced.

Someone are you that the location makes it worth it. I have to challenge that because just down the street at the Mediterranean place and even the very hip Laguna Hotel the prices for food in a more elegant environment has actually lower, nicer, and with a equal or better view.
What makes Greeter’s worth it, nothing but it is pure American nostalgia right on the boardwalk – prime prime location and uniquely American culture history. You decide if it’s worth it I won’t go back, but I’m glad I did go!

The Laguna burger had two thick juicy meat patties, and the combination of ingredients made it actually very good.
The fish tacos were above average, but nothing to brag about. Portion size was great.

The staff was attentive by pushing on the upselling and cross selling.

If you haven’t been checking it out, the decor is old under restored but cool.

This restaurant is as close to the boardwalk in Laguna Beach as you can get. On the patio you get a view of the beach and can see the people sitting on the sand. It’s nice and you get some shade with the umbrellas.
The fish tacos is the dish to get although I’ve heard the fish and chips is pretty good too. Be careful of what you order since some menu items are overpriced (hamburger for $30 and hotdog as fries for $17).
The desserts look amazing and I will definitely try the next time I there.
Service is great though with the wait staff passing very often.

Been living in Aliso since 2001 and come to Laguna often, but this was my first time trying Greeter’s Corner, and it was phenomenal!

My wife and I rode our bikes to the beach today and stopped in for the avocado burger and the fish and chips. Both were mind-blowing. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist/flaky on the inside. Even the fries and cocktail sauce were delicious. I also had a Virgin Bloody Mary which was a great addition.

It’s on the pricier side, but you’re paying for that incredible Laguna Beach view. Well worth it. Service was friendly and on point. I have no idea why this place only has three stars, they’ve definitely earned my business again!

I eat here whenever I’m in Laguna Beach. It’s the best!!! Their Eggs Benedict with Avacado is the best I have ever had. I get it every time. Too bad I live in Utah. The view is perfect from the beachside patio.

Greeter’s Corner Restaurant – Solid Breakfast with a View

We stopped by Greeter’s Corner Restaurant for breakfast and had a good experience overall. The service was excellent—our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable.

I ordered the Greeter’s Combo, which came with two eggs, a choice of French toast or pancakes, and a choice between bacon, sausage, or breakfast potatoes. I chose the breakfast meat but really wish the combo came with potatoes in addition to the meat. I sampled the potatoes, and they were definitely the standout of the meal—crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously delicious. I would return just for those.

The rest of the food was good, and the beach view added a nice touch to the experience. The total for our family of four, including tip, was $133.96, which felt a little high for breakfast, but the location and view help explain it.

If you’re in the area and want a decent breakfast spot with ocean vibes, Greeter’s Corner is worth a visit—especially for the potatoes.

I visited this restaurant in early October and just now have the chance to leave a review.

We arrived in the evening and saw a halal burger option advertised outside. The staff was welcoming, and a friendly young lady handed us the menus.

However, we couldn’t find halal items on the menu, so I asked her about the advertised halal sandwich. She seemed unsure and went to ask her manager, eventually pointing out one sandwich. When I asked if it was the only option, she appeared uncertain and gave some unsolicited answers.

Despite this, I ordered a confirmed dish, which was served promptly and tasted great. Prices were a bit high, but it’s understandable given the beach location. My concern was the staff member’s lack of knowledge about halal food. If you want Muslim customers, please clearly confirm halal options, as confusion like this might make us hesitant to return. The service was still excellent, and they waited for us to leave before cleaning and closing.

Oh hell naw $93.72
A great spot close to the beach what could be wrong, right? A bacon burger, fries, a chicken Caesar salad, margarita and root beer. $93.72
let that sink in. No handmade patty, really average like $4 buck average and the patty was of the frozen variety.
The fat fries were good but the margarita was Meh!
Add Spotty service like a 3G old iPhone in the hills.
Oh hell no $93.72 price gouged
Not worth it.
Sorry just so so below average

Tried to eat here today after a nice day at the beach – key word is tried. We walked up and were told to pick any table, so we seated ourselves. We sat for almost 20 minutes and were never given menus and were ignored by both of the patio servers as they made their rounds. A group of guys walked in 2 minutes after us and were given menus and drinks pretty much immediately. Very frustrating experience! We got up and walked out without any staff saying anything to us at all. Go anywhere else and you’ll get better service I’m sure.

Food quality was between a 3.5-4, but I’ll definitely round up. Very friend service, everyone was kind and attentive. Server and assistants were very willing to help with anything. I ordered the Laguna Burger and sampled their Fish & Chips (which they are known for) I was not disappointed. The Laguna Burger goes for a whopping $20. So I had high expectations and it delivered. Though the rye bread on the bottom of the 2 patties was a little soggy, every bite was better than the last. The onions and toppings were incredible. I would recommend eating here. Worth the price.

Every time I visit Laguna Beach, this brunch spot is my favorite place to go. The food is really good, always fresh and full of flavor. No matter what I order, it never disappoints. The view of the ocean is beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff are also very friendly, which makes the experience even better. It’s the best spot to start the day with a great meal and a great view!
