This place is always spectacular. The service, the atmosphere, the food is some of best food in midland. This place will never disappoint. And all of the staff is so polite and patient. You won’t find a better breakfast anywhere in midland!

This was our first time at Lasko’s and it will be one of many. We sat at the counter and were helped immediately. At the counter we got to watch the cooks in action which was fascinating, and we watched the waitresses work together like a well-oiled machine. Our food came fast and was perfectly warm. The piggy lover’s omelet was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Our grandpa, who is hard to impress, called it “pretty good.” For someone who usually only says “that wasn’t bad,” that’s an amazing compliment! We also noticed multiple people sat at the counter who the waitresses all knew by name, which was another little touch that made us want to come back often.

Warm and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door and it just kept getting better. Our server was so pleasant, attentive and efficient. Answered all questions and gave what turned out to be amazing recommendations. Kitchen was fast despite being really busy and the FOOD!!! Every single meal the 8 of us ordered was a home run and we all chose something different!

Solid diner, probably the best I’ve had in Midland. I only tend to get omelettes or salads, and almost always the “Greek” offering of either. I do wish getting egg whites instead of whole eggs was not such a significant upcharge ($3 if I recall correctly), but I reckon that might be standard restaurant protocol.
Service is always great. Staff is very friendly. The place can get very packed, and gets pretty dang loud. I wish they had one more bathroom (they have one male and one female), as there is usually a wait.
It would be nice if there was a wall separating the outdoor seating from the busy road, because the traffic is VERY loud, making outdoor seating a bit of a drag, but that might not be an option.

I got the “Lasko’s Chicken Pita” and it was hands down the best chicken pita wrap I’ve ever had! So much chicken on it! I had enough for leftovers While the fries cost extra, they are absolutely worth it. They have a crispy batter that is amazing. Service was super fast and the entire staff was very kind and welcoming. It’s a cozy diner style spot and I can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu!

We were in town for a golf tournament and staying locally. Thanks to Google for finding this gem. We loved it so much that we ate breakfast there 3 separate days and 1 day for lunch. The service is friendly and very responsive with lots of coffee refills. One of the best breakfast places I have ever ate at. The omelette was huge with fresh ingredients. I loved the fresh sliced hash browns inside it. I also had a side pancake. Needless to say we didn’t have to eat lunch. For lunch one day we both had Greek salads with chicken. They were huge and plenty of fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. I plan to come back to this tournament next year and look forward to coming back here for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommended!

I walked in with a friend and thought this place is way too packed we will never get a seat! We were very quickly sat down to a table! We had our menus and were able to get drinks very quickly! Even with all the orders that were going through the place our food was cooked to absolute perfection! The waitressing staff was so friendly and accommodating even with the crowd of people! I will definitely be going back!

Got a burger and fries, split it with my daughter and still took some home. Husband had a patty melt and they were both perfectly cooked. Very friendly service, 10/10 would visit again.
