It’s on the beach and a nice place. The food is good and all, but 2 beers here cost the same as a case of beers from Walmart. After I did the conversions from peso to American I spent close to $100 for 2 of us food and a few drinks. The atmosphere was nice but I expected more for that kind of money.

Zippers Bar and Grill is an awesome spot right on the beach with a casual vibe. The food was impressive, especially the shrimp ceviche, which was super fresh and full of flavor. The ambiance really ties it all together, with ocean views and a fun, beachy atmosphere. They even had live music while we were there, which was a very nice touch. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Excellent seafood, including the fish and chips and beer, batter shrimp. We also ordered the Mexican combo, but it was not as good as the seafood. It lacked flavor that other restaurants had, including their refried beans which were bland, the rice which was dry and flavorless. The combo platter was. However, there, fish and shrimp were outstanding! And we also really enjoyed the ribs. The view is incredible and highly recommend the place.

The food was Ok. The shrimp cocktail was good. The ribs were a bit dry smothered in sauce. There was live music when we first sat down. The service was ok. We had to flag the server down several times. Atmosphere was ok. View was nice however no beach access or tables down below. Lots of gringos!

Wonderful casual seaside restaurant literally 10 ft from the ocean. Casual menu with very good fish tacos, burgers and ribs. (Love those ribs!)
Lots of open air, covered seating. A definite hangout for local surfers, who actually surf right there in front of the restaurant. Live music several night a week (Jimmy Buffett style). Full bar. Great place to watch the sunset. Follow Google map or call an Uber, you can’t see it from the highway.
Update: came back in June 2025, just as good! Food marvelous! Our teenage granddaughters also loved the food, the music, the sea ….

We ate here for lunch on a beach day after surfing Zippers. The tacos seemed like the best thing on the menu. Vibe at the cafe is nice, chill. There’s live music in the afternoon on the weekend. Service was fine. I ordered the Chicken Basket (fried chicken and fries). Not particularly memorable but a good beach meal! Guacamole was good.

The most incredible girls night, really enjoyed the coconut shrimp, mezcalitas and the pollo nachos! 10/10! Lovely beachside restaurant, perfect location in San Jose, right next to a surf shop so very low-key and chill just the atmosphere. You need for your perfect date night!

It’s definitely a must for a breakfast on your vacation to Cabo. The service here was top-notch, and everyone was very friendly.
The seating is right on the beach, and you can watch the local surfers in front of the restaurant while having your meal.
The food was unreal. We will definitely make a point to come back here next time we are on cabo.
Parking was also super easy, and they have their own free parking.
