I had such a great experience at Houston Hot Chicken thanks to Keyshawn and Anna! From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. They made sure my order was correct and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed.
The food was fresh, hot, and made perfectly, and you can tell they really care about customer service. It’s always nice to see employees who genuinely have a positive attitude and work well as a team. Keyshawn and Anna definitely made my visit better, and I’ll be coming back because of them!

Keshawn helped us out today. It was our first experience at Houston TX Hot Chicken and he made it an extremely pleasant experience. He was very friendly and patient explaining the menu and letting us know the things he personally enjoyed. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant itself is bright and colorful. The music in the restaurant is great, and not so loud that it’s hard to talk over. Overall excellent!

I have gone to this location 5 times in 2 years
3 out of 5 times the food was as good as the flagship store I tried years ago and loved it.
My previous problem was about 8 months ago and I noticed the chicken was drastically smaller and over cooked on all 4 sandwiches I purchased the chicken original sandwiches which was too crispy and dark like when you are cooking at home and leave it in the fryer a few minutes too long making it more like jerky no moisture and very dark breading. The medium spice had no noticeable spice and the spicy just seemed like the mild no tingly warming spice as usual I’m no spice nut and my 4 year old child ate some and didn’t notice any heat.
I thought maybe they are just off today at the ann location so I didn’t go back until today and I must say it’s much worse today it’s clearly gone downhill
I order 2 original sandwiches with fries 1 medium and 1 spicy and 1 just sandwich no fries with honey butter for my son. The girl taking my order says my order back it sounds correct I pull up pay my bill and she says here’s your receipt I look all 3 orders with fries I’m thinking hey my 4 year old can’t eat all of that it will just be wasted I said I had 1 just sandwich the teller tells me she will need to cancel the order refund me and create a new order I said nm I don’t have time for this it’s new years and I’ve already been waiting 18 minutes I want to get back to my family so I said nevermind I’ll just keep it
I get my order and get home and the spicy has zero spice I mean less than mild nothing and zero I mean zero moisture it’s like you need a drink of water think turkey from Christmas vacation
The medium has mild spice I can taste it but like pepper and salt hot and keep in mind I’ve ordered these from summerlin location many times and they will warm your face nicely usually
The fries mildly warm clearly had been in a warmer for at least an hour I used to love this place got all my family to go here and friends I bragged about it like an annoying friend but wow 2 strikes I’m out I’ll find another chicken place tx hot chicken and location try harder I’m sad to part ways. But there is many other chicken options near this area to feed 3 for $42 bucks

Gone at different times of the day and the food is never freshly made to order, fries are either overcooked or undercooked without seasoning, waffle is cold or stale, and mild tenders/nuggets are never hot and are poorly seasoned. Bottomline, this location has a terrible food prep/cook! If you won’t eat it or prepare your own food in the same manner, don’t serve it to patrons!

The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly upon pulling up to the drive-thru. I’ve been inside and it’s always clean and well kept. Plus, the vibe is pretty awesome from the first step you take inside. This visit I had the pleasure of ordering with Ashley, whom was helpful and patient with us deciding on what to get. The food is also a great reason to come by. The tenders are always well seasoned and juicy! A few other places Ive tried are usually dry and not as good. I would highly recommend coming here!

Food was great, I got the chicken and waffle. I got spice level “Spicy” and it definitely lived up to its name with good flavor. The waffle didn’t need syrup in my opinion because it was already sweet. The atmosphere was also great with how they treat their customers. Shoutout to Leo for being a big help because he was willing to get me samples of different spice levels to make sure I knew what I was getting before I bought it. Their samples by the way are the size of a chicken nugget. I was expecting it to be just the seasoning on its own so it was a pleasant surprise.
