The food is equally as delicious! There is no better fried yucca in the DC area, the chicken falls off the bone and their guacamole is always fresh!
We also celebrated my son’s birthday with 10 of his friends and the staff were amazing! They moved tables around to seat us all together, and made sure the boys all stuffed their faces and had a great time! They even went out of their way to get a candle to put in a cake…best Guapo’s team ever with awesome food across the board!
I have been at many Mexican food places across US especially in Cali. This place easily ranks Top 3
We were large group, so we shared many dishes. We had Beef and chicken Taco, you can order it by peace, each +3$. Berria Taco is a must
And definitely Burrito and fajita
Parking easy
Staff, very very welcoming
First thing I noticed upon entering was that the music was LOUD. I had wanted to eat inside but the volume was ridiculous, so I ordered to go. The second thing I noticed was that the floor was VERY slippery, so please keep that in mind.
The young woman that took my order was not friendly. AT ALL. When she asked me a question, I couldn’t understand her, so I said, “Excuse me?” She repeated it but I still couldn’t understand her, so she chuckled in a snotty way and just didn’t repeat the question.
Anyway, I got a salad with chicken and sauces on the side. The salad was just a plain salad, but the chicken was good as always.
I guess I’d go back, but not with the expectation of eating there, though the place was pretty clean. The volume was just a turn off.
I went there at lunchtime and used the kiosk to order. It was around 12PM the machine only showed breakfast items. No big deal—I ordered a burrito, which was pricey at over $15. (Note to my refund receipt, I believe the time setting on their system was incorrect, my refund shows 12:30 pm, while it was actually close to 1 pm, so by time I ordered my food, they still assumed it wasn’t noon, even though it was already noon)
I waited more than 15 minutes, but nothing happened. Finally, one of the staff noticed me, asked for my name, and told the kitchen in Spanish. Another 10 minutes passed, and the manager noticed me, the same question, and she also checked with the kitchen but still no food.
After waiting even longer while others got their meals, I asked another employee. She said it would take about five more minutes, it was totally unacceptable. I asked to cancel my order.
As I was getting my refund, they finally brought out the food and offered it for free, but I didn’t want it anymore and I don’t need free food. I checked my receipt and noticed they hadn’t refunded my tip. After pointing it out, the manager gave me the rest in coins.
Overall, a very frustrating and disorganized experience.
The enchiladas and tacos are also very good.
The people are friendly and fun that work there. I appreciate them!
