Long drive thru lines that go on for 45 minutes for 4 cars. The slowest drive thru line I have ever been in for such a lack of cars waiting.
So after waiting an ungodly amount of time for your order you receive mostly taco shells/wraps and lettuce. This place doesn’t fill up any of their tacos or groditas. I won’t be coming back for a while at this point. It’s obvious the people in there don’t want to work or follow basic food preparation instructions.
But there’s always time for the whole crew to cram out the side door and smoke constantly even with a long line at drive thru
It’s okay whenever the drive thru timer gets too high they just unplug their car counter machine at the window.
Not only that if you compare prices with other Taco Bell’s in Connecticut this particular location is way overpriced. Greedy franchisee operator, and a batch of employees who don’t know how to make food and give proper portions.
This location should be investigated by Taco Bell for running this place so poorly. Maybe the owner should hire some employees who actually care and want to make food and not smoke constantly out the side door.
The prices of this place are insanely high for fast food. In Danbury for example a Gordita costs $2 less than in Torrington and in Danbury they actually give you a decent portion of meat not just a bunch of lettuce and cheese.
It’s like the franchisee is either trying to save money by giving less meat in the food or the employees are intentionally not filling up the food because they’re too lazy to heat up more.

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I guess you have to go at off peak times. I never had an issue with timing or the food. You can conveniently order from the app, the kiosk or in my case from the cashier. My food is always prompt and done right. My husband and I go several times a month. Yum.

Did a pick up order tonight, I had some coupons in the app. I have to say every item was on point! Last time we ordered, very bad experience- items missing or incorrect and the lady at counter was rude! But tonight! BEN! Ben’s the man! He was helpful and very kind! Our food was awesome and for once we came home and were happy we got Taco Bell for dinner!

Whomever is working tonight needs some retraining. I absolutely love Taco Bell it’s definitely my go to but I was absolutely disappointed this time around. Every time I go I always order a cheese quesadilla they are my favorite today was the first time ordering for delivery but when I received my food for one I asked for Diablo sauce I put 11 Diablo on the order but I didn’t even get 1 and my quesadilla was cold and under cooked none of the cheese was melted every other time I go it’s always stemming hot and the cheese is melted. I got no complaints about the DoorDash driver.

Absolutely unacceptable. The cashier, Kristin Z, overcharged my card. My receipt clearly says $16.73, yet my card was charged $20.01. That is NOT okay and was never authorized or explained. This feels careless at best and dishonest at worst. Customers should not have to double-check their bank statements because a cashier can’t (or won’t) charge the correct amount. I will not be returning unless this is addressed and refunded.

I know there are low expectations for a Taco Bell, but this is bad. No counter people, have to use the kiosk’s, and the food was a 24 minute wait. The kitchen is painfully slow, and liars. I’m there with the two other folks that ordered behind me, that’s it, two more orders in 20 minutes and they have the audacity to claim “we’re busy”. This is just incompetence, that’s all. Get out, and the food isn’t even right, missing items. Joke of a spot.

2024 – Two stops at our area Taco Bell. Sitting at a red light the first time, I called a family member and asked if they would like me to bring some home for lunch. An enthusiastic yes was the response. He wanted to try the cheesy gordita crunch. I also added some tacos to the order. He thought the gordita was okay but preferred to go back to our traditional favorites, the burrito supreme with guacamole and their classic crunchy beef tacos. The best thing about those are they are on the healthiest things to order from Taco Bell list.

October 2022 – The long drive-through line around 3:30 shows how much people still like Taco Bell. I liked their meatless Fiesta burrito for a change with rice and beans plus toppings, and the crunchy beef tacos and double steak grilled cheese burrito I brought home were enjoyed.

As I describe in my original review of Taco Bell, this fast food chain still prevails for its ability to hand customers decent tacos and burritos within minutes. Asking if they made anything without cheese I was told yes, just order anything with no cheese, and they made two crunchy chicken tacos with no cheese as ordered. Two crunchy beef tacos with cheese were also made as ordered.

The drive-through line was huge here around 4:30 today. We ordered two Cravings Packs that come with four beef crunchy tacos and four 5 layer burritos with beef, beans, cheddar, sour cream and a cheddar cheese sauce according to the Taco Bell website description.
Online it said these packs were $10. apiece but at this franchise in Torrington, CT they were $11.99 each. Eating the burritos at home, we couldn’t detect the cheddar cheese sauce. Some of the burritos had little to no sour cream, as well.
People usually want something different from turkey after Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers for a couple of days. Italian, Chinese and Mexican food all offer different cuisines for those wanting a change.
Taco Bell is what it is, inexpensive and simple fare that provides a quick easy fix for consumers who are in the mood for this food. For this reason, it provides a needed service.

The wait was too long I waited 36 minutes for 12 tacos and one quesadilla with only two cars in front of me. Also, very disappointing that we paid an extra $9.20 for sour cream on eight tacos and this is what we got definitely not our moneys worth.
