A surprisingly good little bistro serving delicious sandwiches. The godfather was great and Italian chicken Panini was also solid. We also had a special, the fried shrimp, which were plump and crispy.

Typical for Jersey, portions are big and price is reasonable. Definitely worth a visit!

Highly recommended! I’ve been here a few times, and have enjoyed each experience. This June, my family had my birthday dinner at Zinna’s on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation, and had to wait a few minutes for our table. Just a note – the waiting area is small, so it can be a little crowded if other parties are waiting.

Our table was near the window, so we had a lovely of the water.

Zinna’s bistro is BYOB (and we didn’t bring). They make shirley temples and have root beer 🙂

We started with some kind of avocado salad (it may have just been called The Avocado), mussels marinara and sweet heat calamari (highly recommend the calamari), as well as the black garlic short rib mac and cheese. Everyone enjoyed what they tasted. The avocado salad was delicious (I didn’t personally sample the others)!

Our entrees included penne vodka, drunken burrata chicken, 4 cheese ravioli, chicken francaise and braised short ribs. There were no crumbs left!

The lemon cake and Mom’s buckle are desserts that I look forward to having again.

Before tax, tip and credit card fee, our bill was $303. Not bad for a party of 5.

All around great experience. Delicious food and friendly service. I dined alone for dinner while visiting the area and I would highly recommend checking it out.

Started with a basket of delicious fresh parmesan rolls (I ate the whole basket which was not originally my plan).

I was not familiar with the concept of BYOB restaurants, so I was surprised to see no alcohol list but I didn’t miss it. Another group brought their own bottles of wine and the servers provided wine glasses, very cool! I had a great decaf cappuccino.

I ordered one of the special entrees – mushroom ravioli in a brown butter sage sauce and it was incredible!! No leftovers.

At this point I was completely full but was so impressed with the food that I couldn’t not try a dessert, too. The dessert list specials were impressive and I opted for a Dubai brownie to go.

The atmosphere is also very nice, I sat inside and really appreciated the decorations and watching the sunset over the lake through the huge windows. There are also two outdoor patios which I assume are open when weather is good, one on the lake side and one out front. Both well decorated, so you really can’t go wrong.

Finally, all the staff that I interacted with was so kind and efficient. Overall it was well worth the price which I found to be more than fair for the quality of my meal.

Love to see a small business like this. It will be my first stop next time I’m in the area.

We hosted my daughter’s wedding shower at Zinna’s. Everyone loved the venue, the food and the lakeside view. Geovana was easy to work with in the months leading up to the shower and the rest of the team was great on the day of the shower.

I would highly recommend Zinna’s for a private party or just a night out for good food at a place with a fun vibe.

Delicious pesto pasta with gluten-free options, fresh house salad, and pet-friendly outdoor seating by the lake. Great food + amazing view = must visit!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and came here for a nice quiet dinner after arriving. It’s situated on a man-made lake in a corporate park and has a nice view. I liked the vibe and the service was good with a nice menu. My only complaint was that I find the portions to be a bit small for the price point and the food was a bit saltier than my personal preference.

Zinna’s is not a restaurant you will stumble upon by accident; it is in a corporate park, nicely located lakeside. But many people have found it and return for good reason–the atmosphere is pleasant–a lively vibe, but you can converse at your table without having to shout. The service is very good, pleasant and attentive. And the food: the five of us were delighted to see that the menu has changed, so we were ready to dig in. We shared two tasty starters, the long hots and the antipasta. Our party enjoyed the penne vodka, braised short rib ravioli, four cheese ravioli; and yours truly dined on pan seared grouper, which was slightly crispy outside, and tender inside. Desserts and cappuccinos followed. An overall “yum”. Bring your own wine to enjoy with a fine meal.

Saturday night dinner at Zinna’s Bistro in Cranbury, NJ.

We shared an avocado salad, roast artichokes, grouper with risotto, and burrata chicken parm with rigatoni vodka sauce.

Everything was delicious and the service was good, as well.

BYOB but kind of outdated rules about plate sharing. We were actually going to order more appetizers but we had to order a minimum of 2 entrees + a salad to avoid being penalized.

Had lunch at Zinna’s recently. Made reservations the night before. Staff calls next morning that the place is booked for an event and only seating available is on the parking lot overlooking patio. We wanted to cancel, but restaurant threatened to charge $10 cancelation per person. Oh well, we decide to eat there anyway. Food was average. Service was average. They seem to like cash and have a 3-4% surcharge if you pay by credit card. Never seen that before. They have no alcoholic drinks. Menu seemed rather limited. For an expensive restaurant, food tasted unimpressive.

Great restaurant hidden around corporate buildings and offices. Outdoor seating with a nice view of a small lake. Ample indoor seating with great decor and ambiance. The food is delicious and portions are large. Would definitely return.

UPDATE JUNE 2023:
Went back for a third time and Zinna’s did not disappoint!!! Looking forward to the next time!
