UPDATE: Sep 28. Pollo completely redeemed themselves. I stopped by the location and spoke to manager. She was very polite and accommodating and provided a fresh replacement meal.

Late night came across a smell of some good chicken. Open late night and came to get a 1/2 chicken combo. The chicken was hot the fries were fresh and the rice was on point with the vegetables mixed in. This place has great prices and great service event before closing. I had to wait for fresh stuff but i dont mind as long as it was communicated. Happy customer and full off my meal so would absolutely come again or try something else off the menu on the next visit. 5⭐️ experience at this location

Has anyone else noticed all the billboard ads for Pollo Tropical’s coconut shrimp lately? As a fan of coconut shrimp, I felt compelled to give them a try.
I went through the drive-thru to order a coconut shrimp platter. The person taking my order seemed a bit irritated. When I got my food, the coconut shrimp was fresh and warm, but unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the yellow rice with vegetables and the french fries that came as sides.

They took 15 minutes to get the guy in front of me a SAUCE.
Held up like a bunch of cars in line while they were at it.
When I got to the window they didn’t even know my order & tried to charge me $19 for a fries/corn chicken combo, and then $16.
I’ve paid like $12-$13 at most for this before.
At this point they were delaying me from getting back to work so I just drove off.

One of the SLOWEST Pollo Tropicals I have ever been to. They have two order lanes but only use one. The workers here are so disrespectful and make customers back up just so they hit their time goal. So annoying. Would not recommend this location.

This is the second time I order from this pollo and the second time they messed up my order. Today I decided to order a Crispy Cilantro Chicken Sandwich for myself and a tropichop for my partner. These people literally put four Hawaiian rolls cut it in half and put a piece of grilled chicken breast and a giant piece of lettuce. And for the tropichop they gave us semi raw rice and no tomatoes or salsa when we specifically asked to be made like that.

I ordered online, picked up my food, but they forgot my lemonade. I asked the lady, and she made one for me. After leaving, I checked for fried yucca, but it wasn’t there. I drove back, asked for yucca, and received it. When I went to eat and opened my plate, I found no black beans and the peppers and onions weren’t cut. I had to cut them myself, which made me lose my appetite.

I recently visited this establishment and was appalled by the terrible service. Unfortunately, most of the employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I was treated poorly, feeling like I was begging for food rather than receiving the service I deserved.

Very very very disappointed!! (Truth very far away from reality ) Besides receiving a bad customer service, you can’t rarely understand the voice over the intercom and its not cause i can’t understand English, its how fast employees are trying to get rid off you even when you are the only vehicle at the moment. I was very clear on my order including, i asked for 3 containers of (Jalapeños) and 3 of (white Garlic Sauce) didn’t receive 3 of each neither my (Jalapeños) and to top it off (Yellow plantains are burn, 3 very tiny pieces of steak per plate, Sausages, Chickens still raw on the inside and very small portion of white rice ). It will be my last time visiting this place. I don’t recommend it.
