Never go here for the breakfast burrito. They scimp you on the bacon. And its bacon bits.

For a much better breakfast burrito with thick cut bacon, go to Maya on Broadway. Its only a 3 minute drive away. We’ll worth the few extra bucks.

Food was great! You tell everything was super fresh! The restaurant is super clean and service was great! The prices also rock cheaper than fast food! I highly recommend Oscar’s very Mexican food.

I should have looked at the reviews. Tacos are nearly $5. They got my order wrong. When i did get my order (carnitas) they taste like literal oil, crunchy and disgusting like the meat was fried/burnt to an oily crisp. I immediately felt sick. I’m surprised this place is in business. They had 2 other customers when I got there and I waited 30 minutes to get my first incorrect order. Would definitely not recommend I just wasted $30 on food I literally can’t eat or maybe I should eat, get sick and sue.

Its not just a clever name. This food is very good! I have never seen so much meat in a burro! The carne asada burrito made me come back the next night for another one!

The burritos are the best! My husband always gets the california burrito with the green and red salsa.
I always get the Chile verde burrito. It’s so good!
The portions are pretty big so we always save the other half for lunch or a late night snack lol

Came at 11am from Elk Grove to grab breakfast burritos for my wife and I on our eighteenth anniversary before she went to work. If you’re not a regular, don’t expect much. Walked in and asked if they sold super breakfast burritos—short, heavyset lady behind the counter hit me with an eye roll and a dry “no.” Asked about horchata, she just pointed at the jug next to her. Then she asked if I wanted ice. I said light ice, and she slid the cup over, pointing at the ice machine by the menu. All minimum wage attitude with Rodeo Drive energy—in Curtis Park, of all places. There’s a community college down the street, a park where lowriders post up, and Broadway is right around the corner. Not far from Oak Park either, but they act like it’s some exclusive spot.

Shout out to the cook—the burrito was actually good. The potatoes in it were the same kind you find in canned corned beef hash, which I didn’t expect but honestly worked. Customer service, though? Straight-up comedy. This spot tries to act upscale, but anybody from Sacramento knows this area isn’t fooling anyone.

Usually hit or miss with this place. My mini carnitas burrito was massive and good value for $5.99. It was a lack lustre carnitas burrito dripping in grease from the pork meat, which was the predominant ingredient. There was very little guacamole or pico de gallo, no cilantro, nada! Not very tasty or memorable! I basically had to add my own ingredients at home to make it palatable!

A very tasty American Mexican Taco / Burrito restaurant.

They use solid ingredients and get the job done. For about $9, you get a large burrito that fills and empty belly real well. I had the chicken fajita which was well seasoned but not spicy or hot.

Oscar’s for sure is one of the best places to eat some good tacos in all of Sacramento. Their tacos for sure are the ones with the most meat stuffed over two full size tortillas. I always make two tacos out of one because their is so much meat pouring over. Carne asada tacos are my favorite for sure.

I been going here for 15 years and never had a problem.. not sure if it’s a different owner but definitely not my best time. So if anybody wants food service and better food quality I’ll go to west sac location. I want be going to the Freeport location no more I seen rats running from the kitchen.
