Genuinely disappointed by our experience at Olives and Oil. We had this restaurant bookmarked for months and were really looking forward to finally trying it, which made the letdown even more surprising. The ambience was nice and the space itself is very inviting. Service was okay, our server came by a few times to check in but didn’t add much to the experience. Unfortunately the food was a major issue. While the appetizers and drinks were enjoyable – the arancini and whipped ricotta were solid and gave us hope – the main courses completely missed the mark.
Several people in our party couldn’t finish their meals. The Rigatoni Ala Vodka was supposed to be al dente, but it was outright raw, difficult to chew, and completely lacking flavor. I couldn’t get through more than a couple of bites before giving up, went home with a stomach ache from how undercooked it was. The Cajun Shrimp Risotto was similarly disappointing: bland, lacking depth, and paired with shrimp that tasted extremely flavorless and slightly undercooked. Even the pizza, which is usually a safe choice, fell flat. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, but there was a clear lack of attention when it came to the food itself. The appetizers showed potential, but the mains were simply inedible. For a restaurant with such a strong reputation, this experience was extremely disappointing.

First time at Olives and Oil and it did not disappoint! I came here with my best friends and our partners for a double date. The staff were friendly and amazing! Drinks were delicious and the food was absolutely amazing! Loved the atmosphere and the vibes. Will definitely return again!

OMG! This place is fabulous! Homemade pasta and pizza. So, so good! We had rigatoni in vodka sauce with sausage. Delicious and large serving. Also got a chicken pesto pizza. Thin crust, perfectly cooked, excellent flavor. Our server Zack was friendly and attentive. Food arrived quickly. The place has a great feel. The only negative was the cold bread they served with olive oil. They should get a bread warmer. Everything else is fabulous.

We stopped in after a show and were immediately seated without reservations. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays. We day at one of their booths, but they had high top tables and bar seating as well. I started with the butternut squash soup which was the best part of my meal. I really enjoyed of, especially with the day being so cold. For my entree I had the steak with garlic butter which was cooked at a perfect medium rare. My girlfriend had the branzino which was a very large portion. She enjoyed it. Overall we enjoyed or meal.

The food and atmosphere was amazing! We especially loved our server Zack, who was very helpful. He did a great job taking us through the menu, it is clear he is very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. He highlighted the unique attributes of the restaurants such as the home made pasta, highly recommend him!

Yesterday was my first time here, I was so impressed with how good the food was! Our service was excellent, the waitress (who was also working the bar) was pleasant to chat with and the tall gentleman who also attended to us was very personable! Overall the experience was wonderful and we can’t wait to go again!

The espresso martinis were perfect! I really enjoyed the pasta here. They had a special that allowed us to try three different tortellini dishes. We were too full to get to the third one but the Cacio e Pepe & pesto options were delicious. They also had a summer salad that is in one of the photos, so good! The garlic chicken bites were great as well. The bar area was clean and the customer service was great.
