We are committed to sourcing from hook and line fishermen and providing our community with insight to their local seafood by highlighting where the fish was caught, who caught it, and methods used. Proof Lab’s extensive craft beer-focused drink menu changes weekly based on local availability. We also feature all natural wines. We started as a surf & skate shop in Mill Valley in 2004 and have grown into an alternative community hub of services including retail stores, a coffee shop, skate park, surf camp, nursery, ceramics and music studios, and now beer garden.

Amazing amazing place As a visitor in San Francisco, Marin county was my favorite part of the trip and this place played a big part in it! Their fish is fresh and their servers are super friendly. The vibes are immaculate – please do sit outside if you can! We got the popular fish & chips and a poke plate, and absolutely devoured everything. Their carrot habanero sauce provided for the tables is so good. The local craft beers were top notch also. Next time, i would love to try the fish tacos!

Found this beer garden while heading out to go on a hike and loved the atmosphere. The beer garden is outside with covered seating and a kitchen that you walk up and order at. Great spot if you’re looking for a quick meal or a relaxing place to catch up with friends and try some local beers.
We loved the grapefruit taste in the ceviche and we even threw some of the house hot sauce in to add a little spice. The poke was very tender and one of my favorite poke dishes that I have had. The fish sandwiches looked amazing, I will be trying one next time I’m here!

My friend and I chose this spot to eat after our hike on Mt. Tam AND OH MY GOD. We loved everything, we tore it up. We got the chips and guac, ceviche and chips, and 2 orders of the fish and chips. Without us asking, they were nice enough to give us 3 fish pieces instead of the two we paid for because they were on the smaller side. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Service was fast and the workers were very friendly and nice. 10/10 recommend and we will be back.

food was good but the rice needs work. can’t seem to find any restaurants that isn’t Asian theme that knows how to make good white rice.
besides the rice, the food was really good. my favorite has to be the grilled fish of the day. it is dog friendly. kid friendly. the service is more like a fast food service. you order and pay at the cashier area. you get your own water at the water area but they do serve other drinks.

Perfect atmosphere and really good food and service. I had fish and chips as well as crabcakes on salad. I enjoyed everything except for the french fries, which were almost inedible because of how salty they were. My feedback to the restaurant is that patrons can always add more salt, so please, please go much easier on the salt and let people add more as needed. Otherwise, it was a pretty great experience and we will definitely be back!
