Really
Local breakfast spot, Terry’s is just a 10 minute walk from my place but I never went in, bc it’s in a spot I would never go!… in the same small plaza of a corner gas station that I would never use.

Terry’s food was good, it just needed some salt and pepper. The food took around 30 minutes to make, and I had the food to go. I went to Terry’s on 2 different days because I wanted to try so many things.

Day 1
The pancake was okay. I thought it tasted super buttery and I like my pancakes fluffy, which it was not. It’s just not for me, so I’m going to order the waffle next time.

I love grits, and the cheese grits bowl was a must have. It was a lot of buttery grits, covered with cheddar cheese (you can pick whatever cheese you would like) I had bacon which was crispy (you can pick sausage, ham, or bacon), under an over medium egg. It was a lot of grits just for one egg, so I would order another egg. On the menu it says “cheese grits” so I thought it would literally be cheese grits, not grits covered with cheese. But I should have expected it, because on a lot of the food pictures on Google I noticed omelettes with a single piece of cheese on top. If you order just now know you will need to doctor the grits up.

The triple-decker sandwich was good! I asked for no jalapeños and banana peppers. It came with seasoned fries, which were okay.

They had a Special for 10 chicken wings and fries. So I got garlic Parmesan and I regular crinkle fries. Both were okay, but again I had to add salt to the wings and the fries. I just noticed that my receipt said carrots and celery with my chicken wings, but I did not receive those, bummer. I would order the chicken wings again, I just know I need to add a little salt to it… and check that I have my celery and carrots. Lol!

Day 2
I had the country fried steak, which was so good. It was crispy and the gravy was thick, I added a little salt. I wish I took pictures, but obviously I ate it before I could. I would definitely order this again. It came with a biscuit which was so good! I had two eggs over medium and cheese grits… actual cheese grits! I also ordered a side of hashbrowns. When I came back home, I had to pop the hash browns in the oven because I like mine a little bit more crispier.

The waffles were fluffy and good and I had bacon on the side. I would definitely re-order this.

I can’t explain why they gave me such poor service. The food as well as the presentation was HORRIBLE!!! I guess I shouldn’t went there right before closing time. The waitress was nice. I have no idea what I did to deserve this type of service. Bacon was extremely overcooked, the omelet was just thrown together.

I went to Terry’s the other day and had breakfast. I love Terry’s and have been going there for 10 years. But this time I had three eggs one sausage link no bread no other sides and a cup of coffee. It was almost $24 with tip. That’s insane. I can’t do it.
So new review approximately 8 months later I tried again. Ordered an omelet with sausage and cheese. Looked like one egg used and overcooked to what made it look like a crepe folded over a pile of ground sausage and then dropped a slice of cheese on top. This is like no omelette I have ever had. My wife’s BLT was good but they put her very small portion of fried okra in a sealed container and they were soggy. Asked for a side of ranch for them and she got more ranch than okra. They used to be a bigger portion in an open small paper bag and it kept them crispier for a to go order. With one tea it was $33 with tip. Seems little has changed for the better. What a shame.

First time here & we will DEFINITELY be back! Excellent customer service is an understatement. Super sweet, friendly, amazing southern hospitality. Owners, along with entire staff, were the best! B-fast was on point…My husband’s Biscuits & Gravy were delicious as was my eggs, bacon, crispy home fries & biscuit. Great prices & plenty of food.
Do NOT miss out on this southern home cooking little piece of paradise cafe!

Came in on a Sunday around 945-10 am, seated myself and was greeted pretty quickly. My server was super sweet and attentive. The breakfast was solid and consistent with what I like to order anywhere: sausage patties over hard eggs and rye toast. My grits were a little runny but tasted nice. The place was quaint, clean and a nice little diner

I grew up in Oceanway, FL. I’ve been to Terry’s Grill before in the past. My parents and immediate family have frequented this location many times. I realize how much I’ve missed the excellent service, the courteous and friendly staff. I must say the food is extremely delicious and exciting I’m definitely impressed The biscuits are big, crunchy and soft on the inside. Two eggs fried perfectly…not to over cooked or undercooked. Hash browns are crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Oh yeah! The country fried steak is mouth-wateringly delicious…topped with the most flavorful sausage gravy ever! Let’s not forget the coffee…it’s supperbly crafted. I will highly recommend this location to all people young and old. I can’t wait to visit Terry’s Grill soon!

Ordered breakfast was very specific asked for just egg, cheese, bacon and bell pepper ONLY and after paying $17.15 for loaded hash browns it still wasn’t correct and still can’t get a phone call from manger. Was told I could wait for a refund from a waitress… barely any hasbrowns mostly filled with ingredients I DID NOT order! Or I could come back when I’m at work hence why it was a to go order. Than to be accused of yelling when I did not raise my voice once but i can’t just leave work. I have eaten at Terrys since I was a child but after this kind of customer service I won’t be returning nor will my family.
