The waitress was very nice and explained to us the menu. We ordered the poutine fries with shredded steak for an appetizer, the California burger and a pierogi burger for our meals.
The poutines fries were absolutely delicious! The gravy was thick and flavorful. My husband enjoyed his California burger. The avocado on top was cut perfect as it was not too thick or too thin. His side was the Brussels sprouts and they had robust flavor and were cooked to perfection!
The pierogi burger was extremely unique in kind but sooo tasty! The pierogis were giant as they were the “bun” and they were stuffed with potato and cheese goodness!
Needless to say, everything here was outstanding! All the food that we ordered was prepared fresh and the service was top notch!
The atmosphere is great, it’s an old school neighborhood bar on the corner. The staff and clientele are all warm and welcoming. There’s a bar side and restaurant side. Expect a wait if you stop by a peak hours.
If you love some good ol bar food and beer this is the place for you.
Although the burger I had was good, I was not overly impressed with it and would not find myself going back to this establishment specifically for their food.
