This is a great “honey hole” to grab a bite to eat!
I had the whole fried catfish. My buddy had the catfish fingers.
The servers were very nice and the food came out promptly. This was my first time and I will definitely be back!

On a whim, my wife and I just took Friday afternoon from The Villages and went for a ride to find Catfish Johnny’s. We loved the drive over there from Well Point and we loved the atmosphere at Catfish Johnny’s. You feel so welcome there and Selena did an awesome job of waiting on us. The catfish fingers were great as well as the corn bites and the hush puppies and fried okra and everything. We are so glad we took the time to go over. Do yourself a favor and go find Catfish Johnny’s and have a good meal.

We had a great dinner here. Service was great and everyone was very nice and welcoming. The food was cooked just right. I had the shrimp with fries and my husband had the catfish fingers with coleslaw. The coleslaw was good. For dessert we had the homemade key lime pie and that was really limey and tasty. We will definitely come back again.

Okay they ran out of the Catfish special. No worries, catfish tenders and gator were incredible. Both so tender, unlike any I’ve ever had before. Fried green tomatoes are absolutely delicious and fresh, not pickled tomatoes. Bonus was sweet tea and the ladies working had all the southern charm you could handle.

This place was great! I have not had a good catfish in a long time and this place was awesome. The food was fresh, hot, and very good. The service was great as well. The waitress brought me the wrong drink and had no issues with replacing with the right one and apologized for the mistake. The food i could have eaten my weight and some. It was so good and we will return when back in the area.

Cute place that reminds me of the Wisconsin supper club vibe but in Florida. A must go for visiting friends. We had gator nuggets that were great! Our waitress so so lovely and gave awesome advice on what to order. Catfish fingers and baked fish were both very good. Very reasonably priced and they even brought hush puppies! It’s not a fancy place but you’ll love it!

If you’re looking for down home hospitality and great food you need to visit Catfish Johnny’s in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida The catfish nuggets melt in your mouth, the cheese grits were perfect and the hush puppies the best I’ve tasted ever! Top it off with their sweet tea and you have a meal fit for even the most hard core southerner! Next trip towards the west Coast of Florida we’ll definitely stop there again!

Loved this hometown local restaurant. Awesome food. It was the best gator I have ever had. My husband had the catfish fingers & said they were excellent too. We had the fried okra appetizer, and it was cooked perfectly. Light batter on all the fried food so you could taste the seafood & none of it was greasy at all. We will be back when traveling in the area. They had a craft beers tap room in the back that I want to come back and try out too. Wonderful server; Kimberly.
