The food is great , definitely a Kansas City classic, but the rolls are horrible now! They changed them and they are not what they used to be. They are rough and dry. they used to be buttery and melt in your mouth. Please change them back, I speak on behalf of Kansas City!

My go to spot for fried chicken gizzards. The fried liver is also good. The flavor on the fry is 10/10, and the gizzards have the perfect bouncy chew inside without being tough. Great on its own or with the sweet/spicy sauce you get with an order.

I’ll just start with this; I went back inside because I was missing both the sides I ordered. I got nothing but dirty looks. She did give it to me without arguing, but I could’ve done without the initial attitude. Now I brought home the gizzards for my boyfriend. They were horribly under breaded and burnt. He didn’t even eat half the full order I got him. $16 later and no one is full.

I hate leaving a bad review for this place because I’ve been coming here for years, but I couldn’t believe when I opened the box for my half order of gizzards. There were a total of fifteen gizzards for 7 dollars! Until there’s an announcement that they’ve fixed their prices or their portions, I don’t think our family will be back. 🙁 The food is good, but not if this is what we get for the prices being charged.

Went to Go Chicken Go for lunch today. There are not any locations around where I work or live, so whenever I am around one I try to stop in. They had a special today for 6 pieces of chicken, 1 large side and 4 rolls for $11.51. It was a good deal for 2 people to split. Staff was friendly. Chicken was OK, Rolls were amazing (think warm buttered Hawaiian Bread) and mashed potatoes and gravy were eh. We prefer KFC, but always good to swap it up every once and a while.

The fried chicken and the cole slaw tasted similar to KFC, but in a good way. The mashed potatoes with gravy tasted good and was better than KFC. I noticed that the macaroni and cheese tasted similar to KFC’s version. The rolls were good. On the bright side, the service was fast.
