My wife and I had a lovely time here. We went during the Valentines weekend. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Even through the dinner rush the manager Jason went to every table to make sure everyone was having a nice time and went out of his way to make sure everyone felt welcome. On top of the great atmosphere the food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend!

Salt & Vine in Olney is quickly becoming one of my go to restaurants. I have been there about five times so far, and with each visit the food and service have been consistently outstanding.

The restaurant is set inside a converted house, which gives it a warm and intimate feel without being overly formal. There is a bar and lounge area that makes waiting comfortable, and the overall atmosphere balances relaxed and refined.

On our most recent visit with friends we ordered a 16 ounce ribeye special that is not typically on the menu. It was cooked to absolute perfection. I am demanding when it comes to food because I cook at a high level at home, especially when it comes to meat. The quality of beef we buy for our house has set a high bar, and my kids and I are often disappointed when ordering steak at restaurants. This ribeye exceeded expectations.

It was topped with compound butter and finished with a rich, well developed sauce that added depth and complexity without masking the quality of the beef. I could not identify every element of the sauce, but it clearly elevated the dish. I had sautéed mushrooms and mashed potatoes alongside it, and both were excellent and thoughtfully prepared.

Another guest had a filet mignon with compound butter and garlic broccolini, which was equally impressive. We also had fried Brussels sprouts that were outstanding. We shared a truffle and cheese pizza in a Neapolitan style with a nicely blistered crust and balanced flavors.

Beyond the food, the wine and cocktail selections are well curated and pair naturally with the menu. Service has been attentive and consistent across visits, with good pacing and attention to detail.

For dessert we had the tiramisu, which was rich, balanced, and an excellent way to end the meal.

Salt & Vine’s pricing reflects the quality of the ingredients, preparation, and overall experience. Given the consistency in food, service, and atmosphere, it is a place I expect to keep returning to enjoy.

Aidan was a great waiter, he was very personable, respectful, and on point in all aspects. He was very attentive and caring, while also very informative and professional. The food was amazing as well as the recommendations. Came for my Birthday dinner and I’ll definitely be here again. 10/10.

Went for brunch here. I wasn’t too impressed with my dish (the Italian Trio), but my friend ordered the pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Oh the lobster bisque was delicious too. The restaurant itself was clean, well-kept, and had decent décor.

The only reason I rated the service a 3 is because our waiter was loud, short when answering questions, and insisted on adding a 22% tip for very average service. It felt pushy and unprofessional — definitely a turnoff.

Overall, the food and ambiance were good, which is why I still gave it 4 stars despite the service experience.

We came for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time. Our server Ryan was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly made the night special. His recommendation — the Hot Buttered Rum — was phenomenal, and every dish came out perfect. The manager even surprised us with a toast and the sweetest birthday card.

Highly recommend Salt & Vine — and definitely ask for Ryan!

Salt and Vine offers a delightful atmosphere with a charming setting that’s perfect for a cozy meal. The food presentation was visually appealing, though the pasta dish we tried lacked a bit in flavor. We were slightly disappointed that, despite mentioning a birthday upon booking, our server didn’t acknowledge the occasion, even though the table next to us received a birthday dessert. Nonetheless, the experience was still enjoyable, and we’d recommend it for the overall ambiance and attention to detail in most other aspects. A solid four stars!

I had brunch here for the first time today, and it was fantastic. The focaccia and arancini were delicious. Our server Beckett had great hospitality and was very accommodating to our party of six throwing a surprise mini baby shower for a friend. We loved the complimentary NA prosecco toast for the table. We sat upstairs in a private room and it was perfect. I appreciated that Beckett pointed out most of the dishes are made from scratch in house. The pasta was delizioso! The ambience, service and food were wonderful. Highly recommend Salt & Vine!

We have come to realize that some of the best moments in life are the unplanned ones. Like many families these past few days, my wife and I have been home with our kids because of the ice and cold. We love our kids to death, but we truly needed a little mom and dad time to reconnect and recharge.

So we got in the car and just drove. We noticed that the Salt and Vine parking lot was still busy, but not as packed as usual, and decided to stop in. To our surprise, two beautiful bar seats were open and waiting for us.

We ordered an amazing bottle of wine, delicious appetizers, and ribeye steaks that were cooked to absolute perfection. The food could not have been better. The atmosphere, as always, was spot on, with soft music in the background and lighting that created the perfect mood.

Our bartenders, Victor and Anthony, were outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcomed and cared for. Their recommendations on both the wine and the food were excellent.

This was exactly the evening we needed. Time to recharge, focus on each other, and simply enjoy a wonderful night out. Thank you, Victor and Anthony, for helping make it so special.
