Stopped in for dinner during our one night in Carthage. Pretty quiet for dinner, but really enjoyed the food in this old-school diner. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas was one of the specials so I had to get it. Awesome comfort food. Great meatloaf and gravy. The meal wasn’t heavy at all. We also ordered beef barley soup. So good on a chilly night. Super clean inside and the friendly service. The prices are beyond reasonable.

Was skeptical about the breakfast but seeing great reviews on Google. So we showed up on Saturday morning on our way to Kansas City and we had a great breakfast. She had the scramble. I had the biscuits and gravy and everything was superb.
