So good we came back two days in a row — and then once more again on our way back (this is highly unusual for us). This place is dangerously good. The tortillas alone are worth the trip. The coffee is delicious (and yes, I took 2 terra cotta cups home because I loved it that much).
Every taco was incredible, but the Mony’s taco is next-level. The molcajete was unreal — how have I lived without this? The barbacoa was perfection, and then my husband’s huevos norteños somehow topped it all. Every single bite was amazing.
Shoutout to Silvia for perfect service and great recommendations. Honestly, you could let Silvia order for you and you’d be thrilled.
Fair prices, authentic food, and a vibe that feels like you’re eating homemade food with family.
I almost needed a second stomach — it was that good.

A very homey and welcoming atmosphere, the service was great from the moment you walk in. You can tell they care about your experience here and that goes a long way. The mini tacos (asada) were some of the best we had! The carne asada plate was good! The chips and salsa were great, super great salsa! Everything looked and tasted fresh!

First time trying Mony’s café. Im so glad I did. Me and my little boys wanted to try a new place with good food. Found this place with a close to 5 star review. (There’s always that one person that complains). They deserve to have a 5 star review. As soon as you walk in the door you’re greated and made to feel like you’re at home. The women here are amazing, nice and welcoming. Now the FOOD! JUST WOW!. We had the tacos, the pork chop and eggs plate and the juevo a la mexicana. Everything was delicious. We will coming here and becoming part of the family!. Thank you to them all.

Been to San Antonio many times and good food is always hard to find. Came to take my kiddos to SeaWorld and needed some food before heading back to Houston, and we are so glad we stopped here! We were warmly welcomed from the moment we walked in, and everything we ordered was fresh! Our server was Silvia, and she was phenomenal. We are all full and satisfied. This place is a gem!

Came from out of State. Family recommended a different place for breakfast but we came here. I Very glad we did food from really good and Melissa was really great! Restaurant was very busy and all staff was quick and very friendly. I recommended this place to my SA family.

Looking for a Perfect Authentic Mexican Meal look no further!!!! Mony’s Cafe is the best. I tried my all time favorite Chile Relleno and theirs is so flavorful and my personal favorite in San Antonio!!! There Salas they offer with your meal are full of flavor make sure to try there spicy one. Also very tasty and Authentic Tacos where delicious!!! I will be back soon.

This place was so delicious! We were just looking for a quick breakfast, close to home and this place popped up for us on Google. We had the pozole, chilaquiles, beans, and pancakes.
