If you are lucky enough to get a table by the window and view a sunset over the lake, how can you not give a good review. The lake perch and cod Friday Night Fish Fry specials were really great. The Wiggies potato choice with the lake perch was really good. To me it is a must have. Friday nights get busy so get there early if you can. But having a cocktail while you wait for a great meal is not a deal breaker.

The prime ribs were tasty, but cold. An unsuccessful attempt was made to heat them up. The ribeye was tough. No complaints about the fish. The corned beef in the Reuben had globs of fat in it. It was so disgusting, I could not get the sensation out of my mouth for the rest of the night. Probably a nice lake view in summer.

We have never been here for dinner, only breakfast and really disappointed. Prime Rib had no flavor and was tough, Walleye was not like it is for breakfast, they do a beer batter at dinner vs the nice light batter for breakfast and it is not the same and not nearly as good. Service was good, from host, bartender and waitress. Will never be back for dinner

This place is kind of a neat gem nestled on the lake. This place has very ‘supper club’ vibes with a lovely searing area overlooking the lake and a more bar area in the other half. I went with a small group, and they were able to accommodate us with no reservation (I do believe they accept reservations, though). Our waitress did a pretty decent job of making sure we were cared for. The food was pretty good. The cheese curds were very good. I think everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. I will likely be back.

The whole entrance smelled like people smoke in it, and it then makes its way into the bar area. The vibe is trying for supper club, but the food wasn’t up to that level. The crab cakes were very different, I’d say minimal crab and mostly rice (I think)? The salmon was good. The place needs a little TLC.

I really wanted to like this place. Tried the breakfast a few months ago and it was decent. Tried dinner recently and got the Southwest chicken wrap and tot nachos. The wrap was the worst wrap I’ve ever had. No flavor and gross processed cheap chicken bites. You would think for around $14 you would get a fresh grilled chicken breast. Also, it was $2 extra to get fries instead of potato chips. Very over priced for poor quality, tasteless food. Tot nachos for pretty solid though. Drinks were good and the bartender was top notch

Beautiful spot in McFarland where you can eat and experience the local lake before and after dinner. Menu includes fried chicken, walleye, and bluegill, so it is a Wisconsin dinner spot done right. Ownership and service are Wisconsin friendly, and the food is football Saturday good… meaning (in my humble opinion…) it doesn’t get any better than this. We hadn’t been here for a few years, but used to go quite a bit. Delivery appetizers (onion rings, French fries, etc), dinner club style salads with French dressing, and fried chicken done the way it’s supposed to be. While Pete the retired truck driver and I ordered and mowed down on and loved the fried chicken…Lisa got the fish tacos and Brett ordered his walleye broiled. Brynne, of course, enjoyed her chicken strips and fries. Wisconsin beat an already beat up New Mexico State team 66-7. And all was right in the (local) world, if only for a moment.

We had a fabulous Friday dinner. We went for fish fry but couldn’t resist the crab stuffed grouper. Old Fashioneds were great, salad bread before the fish, the grouper was perfectly cooked. Our service was excellent, Mary took care of our special requests and checked in often.
