Dined here for a late breakfast/brunch with my girlfriend. Although it wasn’t listed on their menu my girlfriend really wanted Huevos Rancheros which we asked for & they were able to accommodate. It was so good!!! Perfect remedy for our slight hangovers. They have an incredible drink menu. Although we were tempted we settled for mimosas which was a perfect compliment to our Huevos Rancheros. We’re both in the industry & we were very impressed & appreciative of their service which was impeccable!!! They’re all about team work helping one another out which was refreshing instead of the attitude that I’m only taking care of my assigned section. An employee that was walking into work, just arrived for his shift hadn’t even clocked in yet…walked by our table saw an empty plate & cleared it. Top notch!!! We were visiting from out of town & noticed that they have several locations in the surrounding area. My girlfriend who gets her car serviced in Modesto said when she has to get her car serviced she’s going to make a point to frequint their restaurant there. It’s that GOOD!!!

Pero this Chimiiichanga!! The chicken was so tender and delightfully flavored. The crunch was right, and everything in between.
After running 6 miles this morning, this is exactly what spoke to my soul. Gracias al equipazo, y a Maria quien me atendió

I stopped by here with a friend on our way home from Sonora and it did not disappoint. The portions are large, the dishes were delicious and the menu was great. It’s clean and really decorative inside, making a nice place for any group setting. I highly recommend!

Ok.. Let’s be real. ALMOST anytime you visit a “whole in the. Wall” style restaurant, the food usually ends up being top tier!! Now. I do t consider this a hole in the wall but is now at big as most spots. The food however. Yeah. Let’s get right to it.. we came in. On Sunday. Had about a brief 10min wait, seated and got right to business. Waiter took our drink order after a short 5 mins. Which was great and did the usual, which was brought out some chip and salads. The chips and sala were good. Super fresh and packed good flavor and texture both the chips and the salsa. The little slaw they brought. Was horrible to OUR taste pallet. May be different for you all’s. It just wasn’t a taste I or my family liked. Go figure lol. But the food. They have a pretty extensive menus and to be honest. It was hard for me to choose. EVERYTHING sounded soo good from the descriptions. I finally settled on a Del Mar enchiladas with Alaskan crab meat. drool much reasonably priced come with two enchiladas a side of refried beans covered in cheese and a side of Spanish rice. I also ordered a pork tamale smothered in red/green sauce and cheese on top. Took about 10-15mins to get back to us. Reasonable time. I was ready to walk straight back to the kitchen and hug the chef. Sheeesh!!! So nicely presented. Wifey ordered the 3 Item combination which was 2 steak enchiladas and 1 steak tacos., my son ordered a Steak Supreme Burrito, (Which by the way was MASSIVE). They both demolished their plates I was rather shocked that my son finished most the burrito. It was so fat he had to eat it with a fork. The taste of everything was soo on point. Kinda reminds me of being in Old Town San Diego. Flavors were just exactly what they looked like they would be and then some. We have a rule that we live buy. You try the beans first. If those are hittin then chances are the rest of the food is going to be on point. And it was!!! The staff there moves very fast like crazy fast there. They are nice and courteous. The ambiance is definitely vibey. Just wish the booths and tables had a bit more space. That’s my only draw.. but other than that. Excellent experience. We’ll definitely be back again. Next time I’m going for that seafood burrito with scallops, crab and lobster.

Be prepared to wait if you are trying to eat here on a weekend at normal dinner hours, but it’s worth the wait. I tried the Chile Verde for the first time, and I was very happy with my choice. The amount of food that you are given is not a small portion. I took home enough for an entire additional meal. All of the meat was super tender and fell apart when I cut it. The flavor was great. Then you also have the rice and beans to eat with the awesome tortilla chips. All in all, it was a great meal that I would gladly wait for again. The staff was very friendly and they stayed on top of the drinks to make sure that we had everything that we needed. If you are into tequila, this is also the place to go.

Had dinner and a margarita at the bar. It had been almost a decade since I was in Manteca at dinner time. It worked out nicely. Food and drinks are still wonderful.

When you’re in Manteca, and the clock is ticking away, and you don’t have much time for anything but a fastfood drive through…what’d you do? I tell you what to do Pilgrim!
You go straight to the El Jardin Mexican Restaurant, because they’re not only fast, but they’re the best Mexican restaurant in Manteca!
5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
