I really enjoyed my lunch at La Dolce Vita. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The wine selection was impressive. I especially loved that they have an inhouse sommelier, which truly elevates the dining experience. A unique touch is their personal “cavas” for guests who want to store their own bottles.
The food was good overall, but the highlight of the lunch was definitely dessert. The crêpes, prepared right in front of us, were absolutely delicious and made for a memorable ending to the meal.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my family yesterday, and we received a very warm welcome. We had a few drinks, and the restaurant kindly offered us an appetizer. I ordered a minestrone soup, which was excellent, and a Neapolitan pizza. To finish the evening, the restaurant also offered us a complimentary aperitif before we left.
You could tell that the owner was present with his staff and truly cared about the quality of service. To all Canadians reading this, if you’re looking for a meal that reminds you of home, I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food! We were struggling to find vegetarian and gluten free options for our group on our trip to Cancun and luckily discovered La Dolce Vita. The restaurant is beautiful and transports you to Italy from the first steps. All the servers were welcoming and our main server, Carlos, was so lovely and accommodating. There was a large selection of dishes for everyone which was really refreshing. All the food was delicious, especially the pasta, pizza and the deserts. There was also a large range of cocktails and the aperol margarita in particular was really nice. We had a lovely evening and would 100% recommend the restaurant.

La Dolce Vita in downtown Cancun was such a positive surprise! The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavor.
The service was wonderful, and the staff were extremely attentive and kind throughout the entire experience.
The quality of the food and presentation was easily on par with some of the more expensive restaurants in the Hotel Zone. However, the prices are much more accessible, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience without paying premium tourist-area prices.
If you are searching for excellent Italian cuisine, great service, and great value in Cancun, La Dolce Vita is definitely worth visiting.

Incredible service from the moment we stepped in. The staff were so attentive and very professional. The food was incredible, the best Italian I’ve had yet, would highly recommend the lasagne and the rigatoni viva Mexico and for dessert the chocolate mousse was divine. I mentioned it was our anniversary in the booking and they brought out a lovely dessert with candles to make it feel extra special. For the girlies – the bathroom is gorgeous!! Perfect for mirror pics!
