Wasn’t going to post but I honestly felt ripped off. Been here 3 times and I always get the same thing. Each time I got charged more. Prices shown on menus don’t match what you get charged, $30 for a plate is crazy for mediocre tasting chinese food.

Went in today for lunch because I haven’t been in a long time and almost walked out after placing my order because it was so expensive but decided to stay trying to be hopefully. The lady is rude and not funny by any means she just tries to get you to swipe ur card and scram like a rat. Another note there was someone outside saying they had a rat infestation once I stepped out with the food. The food was not bad but no worth it for the prize. My suggestion is drop those Hollywood prices.

I wanted to like this place because of its notoriety on Tik Tok, but it wasn’t a great experience for me. The line to order food snaked around the cramped room, and it took 45 minutes to get to the front of the line to order, and we didn’t get our food until an hour after arrival. I could understand if the food was amazing, but the food was below average, in my opinion. The line was because there was only one person running the show, taking orders and handing out food as it was prepared. They need to hire more staff, but there was hardly any room behind the counter, so they would be climbing all over each other to get anything done. From what I could see, the kitchen staff was pretty limited also. Some workers came in for their lunch hour, but they had to leave because there wasn’t enough time to wait in line.
I had the Curry Chicken over white rice plate. It looked like a lot of food which would have justified their high prices, but it was mainly a huge mound of rice that made it look like you received a lot of food, and there was hardly any chicken. I didn’t like the curry, and there was enough rice to put me into a diabetic coma if I ate it all. My buddy got the broccoli beef and let me try it, but the meat was chewy, so I didn’t like his plate either.
The building was old and could use some updating, so I didn’t care for the atmosphere.
The one good thing is that they had a very extensive menu. If you don’t want chinese, you could get a burger.
In summary, this place didn’t live up to the hype, and I won’t be coming back.

From the looks of the comments it seems like the food is overpriced, you will not be paying the same price as advertised which means that the TikTok fame has gotten to their heads. Also, the food quality is not worth the price. And we cant forget that there may possibly be a rodent infestation. Seems like the best thing about this establishment is the playful rude humor that has been broadcasted on TikTok. If you’re into that kind of thing and came mostly to hear the lady at the counter talk that ish, then maybe you can overlook the lackluster of everything else. If you would just like good quality food at a decent price, with a clean building, it seems like people are choosing panda express as the best option, and if you are looking for an authentic experience, I would say any of the Chopsticks locations has always been a great option… Unfortunately Shanghai Kitchen, which i thought was the absolute best Chinese experience in fresno, was top tier, but they have permanently closed since the pandemic. Good luck out there. But if you’re reading the reviews before trying, as I am, I would highly suggest saving your money, time, and just enjoy the TikTok videos.
(Not a 1st hand review, just a summary based on the overall experience by other customers)

Building looks old and sketchy but everything was clean inside. Stopped by after seeing this on Tik Tok since we happen to be in town. Our plates were loaded with food and were tasty just a bit expensive. I see a lot of complaints about wait time but when I was there there was no long wait. I got the shrimp chow mein and they were pretty generous with the shrimp compared to other locations. The large portion was a lot of food, maybe consider the smaller portion if you have a small appetite. Don’t be offended by the lady from social media, that’s her persona.

Such a great spot! It was packed when we went — and for a good reason! The food came out fresh and delicious, and everything on the menu looked amazing. The owner has such chill, funny vibes that make the whole place feel welcoming and down-to-earth. Definitely one of those local gems that makes you want to come back again soon!

Food tastes great. I got crunchy noodles with shrimp, broccoli, onions, and jalapeños.
The food is pricey but the plates can feed 2-3 peoples.

Rip off! Expensive and it was not even good. When you go out of your way and pay so much, food better be worth it. She suggested what we order, so can’t say we didn’t know…was not worth the hype. If it wasn’t for over hyped social media, it would be just another restaurant.
