A small restaurant with a homey laid back atmosphere.
Service was incredible! The staff was very friendly and attentive to us.
The food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp fajitas were very flavorful with an abundance of vegetables. The flavor of the arbol sauce was so good I would order it 1000x.
They also had conchas which we took one to go and was so soft and fresh.

this place is soooo good. the salsas are yummy, frijoles con queso are addicting, asada is crispy and flavorful, but the pozole verde was the STAR. absolutely incredible. so much flavor and warmed my soul to the core. also Nancy was such an amazing, kind, and hardworking server! incredible service and so sweet and accommodating. can’t wait to come back to try more stuff! definitely a new fav. ❤️

I’ve lived in Milwaukee most of my life but I had never been to Guadalajara before even though they’ve been around since 1987.
The building is very unassuming, being on old home turned restaurant. There’s not a lot of seating and we had to wait when we arrived, but it was short, maybe 5 minutes.
The service was EXCELLENT and our server was VERY pleasant, accommodating and always smiling. The menu has all your typical a Mexican dishes and they brought chips and salsa to the table. There was a green salsa that was the spicier of the two, but not hot. The red was a little chunky which I don’t prefer but the flavors were good. I ordered the combination plate which came with chunk beef, tortillas and I ordered chicken for the taco, enchilada and tostada. It also came with rice and beans. The food was fresh and delicious. I liked everything and cleaned my plate. Also had a margarita on the rocks. It was fine but not awesome.
I’ll definitely be going back when in the mood for Mexican.

Hidden gem. Small and not much to look at but i come for the food. Overly nice, and accommodating, wait staff. Plenty of good, authentic, Mexican food. Served and cooked by Mexicans in a Mexican populous neighborhood. Can’t get any better than that!

Really good menudo on the weekends… Micheladas are good! I have never ordered anything OTHER than Menudo that I DIDN’T like, just can’t say it was AMAZING..
SERVICE IS ALWAYS GOOD STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING! Very clean as well.
They do have a small lot to park in as well as street parking that is available. You never have to park far-you are dining in or just picking up your order.

This place is great! I had the chimichanga lunch, and my husband had the steak tacos. The salsa Verde is spicy, and I would put it on everything! The staff is very kind. We enjoyed ourselves here and will come back again when we are in Milwaukee!

We were greeted warmly and sat as soon as we arrived! Lovely waitress and fantastic service. I am confident this place serves the best chile relleno in MKE, and I was in love with the salsa verde. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and spent the subsequent three hours flat on our backs in a food coma! The sign of a truly fantastic place!

I have eaten it twice. The price is affordable. Two tacos, a drink and a bowl of beef brisket soup /pelezo add up to 23 . The food quantity is a small than other mec restaurant, but the free cornflakes and chili sauce are great.
